Destroy them with lasers!
Does reverse count as timeshift? I was really hoping for slo-mo and was disappointed.
ETA: 'Twas neat how the pops slowed down the further out it got, I assume because the laser light attenuated.
Very Rare Triple Play
I can't recall ever seeing a grounder triple play with only one force out. Impressive stuff, especially the last throw (as the slo-mo shows). Why did the batter try for 2nd??? That was stupid stupid stupid.

Bubble bursting at 18,000fps - The Slow Mo Guys
Needs Better lighting - Can't see a dammed thing!
Edit: Actually yes, My monitor is great. And yes, I understand that the darkened image is part of the high speed process. But they know that as well, and I just figured that photographing something so particular as tiny water droplets, they could have tried using either solid white or solid black backgrounds and better lighting to accentuate the bubbles and the popping.
If they are going to make a video with all the equipment, then set your space up properly. These guys do slo-mo all the time. I just felt they could take the time to do it right.
Big Cats in Slow Motion
Looks like it was shot at the standard 30fps and then doubled-up in the editing room. Also known as "poor man's slo-mo". But great photography otherwise.
Probably The Closest Call I've Ever Seen.

Serious Motorcycle Fail
It must be embarrassing if a video of you doing something stupid/unfortunate becomes popular on the internet. But the slo-mo is just piling on.
Lars Andersen shoots arrows the fastest
I wish they'd show his actual technique. They showed what it wasn't, but not what it was. I want close-up high-res slo-mo.

Just moved to Seattle, I feel like I missed out on something.
He really was a huge Seattle icon since the 1950's. You should go and check out his statue located in Fremont [and don't forget the Fremont Troll under the Aurora Bridge if you do].
Each channel had their own kid's show. KOMO had Captain Puget [he was a bit dry for my taste]. KING had Stan Boreson who played the accordion and had pets [basset hounds Slo-Mo and No-Mo]. KSTW had Brakeman Bill who had sidekick named Crazy Donkey. It was fun growing up here. =o)
I live in the U District so I'll have to bike on over...too bad I missed the Solstice Nude thingie.
