Some Big Moments From The Jan 6 Hearings So Far

newtboy says...

I do think it makes Hunter look like a baller. A dope fiend, maybe, but not as much of one as Rush or Don Jr who you LOVE so I reject your hypocrisy, and Hunter is infinitely cooler than either of them.

This is DEFINITELY the lifestyle Don Jr wishes he could live, but he’s WAY too uncool, whining, crying, doing lines, throwing fits, getting sloppy seconds if anything at all…Hunter is rolling deep, living large, having fun, surrounded by fun hot women having 3 ways, not shrieking shrews that can’t stand him or alone, coked out, rage posting.

Is Hunter presidential material….no. Does he have political ambitions….also no. Don Jr isn’t presidential one bit either, but he thinks it’s his birthright now, and guaranteed you would vote early and often for him.

Do I think Hunter is cool, likely fun to hang out with. Yes.
But he’s definitely no roll model.
On par with any Trump in that regard, but WAY cooler.

BTW- you might not want to bring up who he slept with considering Trump’s history of fucking (or trying to fuck) all of his “friends” wives, multiple porn stars, raping multiple random women and subordinates, lusting after 12 year olds in public, partying privately with Epstein and YOUNG girls, and blatantly saying publicly on more than one occasion that he also fucked his daughter. By comparison, Hunter looks good there too.

I don't get why a female lead should be so controversial. I don't see any evidence that women are in any way a threat to male dominance in cinema.
Why does female empowerment bother people? Do they feel women should be subservient? Do they feel women are inferior and should not be glorified in cinema? Are they threatened by challenges to traditional gender roles? I don't get the conservative lizard brain.
Most films are focused on male characters: ex cia operatives, cia operatives, superheroes, starship pilots, lawyers, roughnecks, wealthy aires, adventurous lads, movie stars, pilots, news reporters, detectives, grieving sons, criminals, singing woodland crittters, spys, soldiers, cops, businessmen, farmers, swordsmen, insurance salesmen, vietnam vets, tap dancing penguins, even men playing female roles.

Openly Gay Student Defends Teacher at School Board Meeting

Crosswords says...

Link to Original Story
First of all its a school, I have never in my life known schools to be a place where you can say whatever you want. Kids usually got in trouble for saying anything slightly crude or that could be construed as being disrespectful. Hell, one time I was waiting in line to leave the lunch room for recess when I sneezed. It was 'determined' I did this on purpose to interrupt the teacher that was telling us the same shit she always told us when we left the lunch room. I ended up having to spend recess sitting in the dirt facing a chain link fence, where some joyless shrew would yell at you if you, spoke, moved, picked at the grass, or looked in the direction of the playing kids.

So in the continuum of shit teachers and administrators get butt-hurt about, some intolerant bigoted kids spouting their dumbass beliefs and then getting in trouble doesn't even move the needle on my outrage meter. Maybe if I thought for a second this was the most liberal school when it came to free speech I'd buy their argument for a day. But seeing as they bitch about the teacher violating the student's free speech rights in one breath and then bitch about the teacher wearing an anti-gay bullying shirt in the next I'm inclined to believe they're full of shit.

Was it completely fair for the teacher to remove the offending student from the class room for his intolerant views and not the others? Probably not, but it doesn't make it okay for a student to sit there and say what kinds of people he hates.

So awkward and uncomfortable to watch these poor people putting their faith in that troll.

Still, I couldn't help laughing out loud at the shrew immediately spitting out, "She was shot," followed by, "No, she collapsed in her room," and people (meaning Montel) still giving credence to the bile that spews forth from the garbage disposal in her face.

She is a motherless fuck.

Wow talk about unexpected celebrity deaths. I initially didn't like him after they raped Taming of the Shrew for 10 Things I Hate About You but his performance in Brokeback Mountain was outstanding. Good actor.

yeah, what dotdude asked, ya wanna share the ban-litter, or whats???? Post it so we can pick it the hell to bits......thumbs up, down, in, over, or off.....that'd be so much better than ban parties, and wayy more beneficial, from a therapeutic perspective, than paying money for advice from a shrew under the bridge, for the whiners, errr, disgruntled......

Taming of the shrew

Krupo says...

Empire, 1. which country do you live in, and 2. you do know that this entire movie is a 'rip-off' or homage to Shakespeare's "Taming of the shrew" (which rhymes with "Ten things I hate about you"), right?
