The Green Mile still stands as the best book-to-movie adaptation in my opinion. HHGG was a complete waste of time (worst book-to-movie adaptation nomination), and The Time Machine was way off, but all the SFX alone in that movie made me happy.

Someone please add Austin Powers music and SFX to this...

Correct about the SFX thing. SFX was one of the companies that worked on some of the effects in the Lion King and this was something that they snuck in there.

It's definitely SFX, although it really doesn't matter since it's nearly impossible to see unless you're looking for it.

I completely agree with Sylvester_Ink. This is actually the only prequel I revisit because of the duels and more pleasing sets.

Every duel that came after Ep1 became rushed, tightly shot sfx extravaganzas that began to rely less on the clever acrobatics of the fighters.

The birth nightmare still gives me the creeps even though it looks ridiculous looking back on the sfx.

one of the worst films in existence.. great SFX, but terrible terrible film.. is it just me or is the last battle just a rehash of Star Wars ?

Hmmm, I would have rather heard some of the dialog and sfx rather than this sound which sounded pretty tinny.
