Taking Down A Hate-Monger In Most Scottish Way Possible

Taking Down A Hate-Monger In Most Scottish Way Possible

Monsters beware

I do this exact thing with the Scottish pronunciation of "Shite". I can use it around most people without them realizing, or if they do realize they don't say a thing just because it doesnt sound like "shit".

Americans are stupid. My mother would wash my mouth out with soap when I was a child if I said something "Sucks".

It's funny how language works really. 'Ass' is not a nice word? In my UK experience we tend towards 'ass' being the PG version of 'arse'

Sounds like he has English parents but lives in Scotland or the other way around. For the record the elder (I believe its a grandfather) has a pretty strong northern English accent so it's reasonable to suppose the family has a bit of a mixture and that's represented in his ambiguous accent.

I detect no Irish, though.

Clues: The way he says 'nine' is Scottish. Irish would tend towards 'noyn'. When he says 'It is a real one', the 'it is' is characteristically Scottish. When the elder says 'I know' he says 'I naaaw' which is so Northern English its untrue - the final 'E R' nails it.

"YOU are WORTHLESS" -the economy

I'd wager that this lass went to uni in Edinburgh, all I hear is someone who's picked up a Scottish accent

I also enjoyed her clearly having picked up little bits of native accents so each word sounded like she was from somewhere else.

όχι, bitches!

Or as a cartoon, if you prefer.

Edit: With all the nasty fearmongering by the Greek private media and the corrupt elite, it takes balls of steel to basically tell them to fuck off. The Greek economy is fucked³, politicians from the entire Eurozone were arguing for, even demanding the Syriza government to step down, so they can resume business as usual with either the old nepotic elite or freshly installed technocrats. Piss off, the demos replied.

The result itself doesn't matter that much. The process itself, like the Scottish referendum, might have set into motion a development that cannot be stopped nor undone.

Edit #2: the vitriol and pure hatred from the conservatives and many social-democrats is despicable. What champions of democracy they are. Tsipras and Varoufakis should channel their inner FDR and welcome their hatred.

XCOM 2 trailer

I just wish they'd hired a few more voice actors. I loved that my squad was a group of international badasses*. I hated that they all spoke English with an American accent.

* I nearly cried when Douggie, my Scottish assault, died. In my mind, he was got into xcom after escaping the Glasgow gang scene. None of the team could understand him, but he was the first human to ever headbutt an alien. RIP Douggie, ya brave caledonian nutter. We killed that cyberdisk for you, man!

More than the procedural level design, what I really wished for in the previous one was different textures/models, according to the part of the world the level took place. No matter where in the world the action was happening, it always looked like new york or something.
