Inglorious Basterds Epic Bloopers - "Hi Sally!"

This is adorable. I liked the film...except the shooting of my hero...Hitler.
EDIT: It should be noted that Sally Menke died Sept. 27th, 2010. She had been editor to every Quentin Tarantino film going back to Reservoir Dogs.

They should've said, "Bye Sally."

Couldn't resist.

Alfred Hitchcock presents Man From The South

Grimm says...

Sort of....this was adapted from a short story by Roald Dahl. The version I first saw was a remake in 1985 for the "New Alfred Hitchcock Presents" that starred John Huston in the Lorre role and Melanie Griffith as the Girl. Tarentino's version refers to the classic Hitchcock episode as the inspiration for the bet...and as you know has a completely different ending then the story it was inspired by. >> ^ctrlaltbleach:

Same bit is used in Quentin Tarantino's Four Rooms.

Umm..... Quentin, Can You Leave The Dancing To Uma & John??

QT is the most awkward big name director. There is a Brad Pitt + Quentin Tarantino interview on the Inglourious Basterds blu-ray which I watched last night (it turns out IB is one of those movies that gets better with repeated viewings). In the interview it's clear that Pitt finds Tarantino's energy irritating and draining. Apserger's + coke habit = very irritating to stoic potheads.

I liked the Prometheus trailer better than any 2011 films

I don't know if I necessarily agree with that, but 2012 is definitely going to kick 2011's ass, cinematically. You've got Prometheus, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, Star Trek 2, John Carter, Skyfall, Cabin in the Woods, not to mention new films from people like Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Rian Johnson, Derek Cianfrance, Steven Soderbergh, Alfonso Cuaron, Nicolas Winding Refn, and a movie directed by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowskis. Plus: not one, but TWO NEW ARNIE MOVIES! 2012 -- best year ever? Possibly.
