Does it make the animal more likely to hunt people or attack the caretakers? Maybe most of these animal are handled in a way that caretakers expect them to try to attack them anyway so it doesn't matter what type of conditioning the animal recieves.

Video title lies. ANYONE can swim with a polar bear. It's when the "swimming away from the polar bear" part comes that the story... diverges...

Do other bears swim like this? I see them eating fish and splashing in water but this polar bear looks like a competent swimmer.

As Chris Rock observed, everyone talking about the trained Tiger suddenly going crazy is wrong. The Tiger was crazy while it was walking on balls and riding bikes around potential food. The tiger finally trying to eat one of them was the tiger finally being a tiger again.
