Here's an idea, overlay glasses.
I did a paper on that actually. Cool stuff.

Crazy bridge in Siberia
That bridge just reminds me of Half Life 2.
Crazy to cross it but he must of had the combine on his tail. Now just need to overlay some audio effects on that footage.
This reminds me about coverage and debate about bridges falling down in the UK during a recent amount of flooding in Cumbria. Essentially river beds were swept away from bridge foundations causing them to collapse. These bridges were normal road bridges but what brought them down was the rapid amount of water in a given time period, so I'm not surprised that the person in this clip could drive over that bridge.
If they were however driving dangerously or the river was flowing above normal conditions then it'll be truly dangerous.
Huygens' Probe Landing on Titan

Why don't they just show us the ACTUAL FOOTAGE from NASA instead of this lame fake edited overlay? gay
I take it from watching the video that there is no such thing as "actual footage" in the way you seem to be implying. The probe is spinning and gyrating so wildly any video feed, if it were plausible to even send a video feed, would be completely useless. The probe was snapping small slices of pictures and keeping track of its orientation, and out of that data the final "landscape" was constructed as you see there.

Pomplamoose - Always in the Season
I'm really digging their "here's the video of the instruments being played" thing, especially the ones showing "yes, this is a chorus of many Natalies." The superimposed parts in this video worked well for the violin and cello, too.

i didn't like this song. their other ones were better.
I wasn't really into this one either until after the first minute or so, but I felt like it really found its form as it picked up. When it started I was thinking, "this doesn't sound very good," and not because of the "retro" filters - something about the singer's normally-charming rasp, I guess.>> ^brain:
There's something about watching the singer's face as she stares off and sings beautifully.
There's also something about watching her stare through you.
If they want people to send goats, they should just loop a video of her staring at the camera with that piercing gaze and overlay a flashing "SEND A GOAT".
Japanese Hentai video game "Real Kanojo" benchmark and demo
>> ^ponceleon:
wtf is up with the "real" meter in the upper left.
WHAT THE FUCK could that POSSIBLY be MEASURING!?!?
I MUST KNOW!!!!
More than likely, just the frames/second. The "Real" thing is probably just an overlay for the demo mode or something. Not that I've played with this particular piece of software or anything...

Derren Brown predicts the winning lottery numbers LIVE on TV
The gif shows the difference in the ball placement just before Derren crosses from the right to the left of the screen and after.
This is how he did it (it's really rather simple despite sounding elaborate):
1. Derren records an intro sequence where he's standing outside and walks into the studio to the television. He waves at a second camera, and there is a cut to it (the only cut in the entire sequence) that shows he is being filmed by a handheld camera. He then waves his hands in the air in an exagerrated gesture.
2. Derren moves out of the way and they then place a completely stationary tripod camera in front of the studio set up and record the whole thing for 10 minutes with no action.
3. When it's almost time to go live Derren stands next to the television with his hands in the air while being broadcast by the stationary tripod camera, watching the monitor for it to cut to him live.
4. A post process shake is applied to the entire live stream to give the illusion that Derren is being filmed by the handheld camera. It's important to remember that he's not, it is the static camera on a tripod.
5. The intro sequence cuts to Derren on the static camera; Derren sees this on the monitor and lowers his arms. Derren is now live.
6. Derren talks for a bit then walks over to the television. At this point, the left half of the prerecorded actionless segment is overlayed over the left half of the screen.
7. Derren turns on the television and watches the numbers being drawn and does his usual showmanship. When the numbers are drawn he then takes a moment start writing them down on a piece of card.
8. An assistant now places stickers of the numbers in order on the balls. You cannot see the assistant because of the overlay. The balls are tightly packed into the perspex tray to ensure there is no movement that will be spotted when the overlay is faded out.
Unfortunately, the tight packing and touching of the balls makes one of them (the 39 ball on the left) push up a bit so that it's no longer resting on the bottom of the tray.
9. The assistant leaves shot left and the overlay has a 1 second fadeout (around 5:06 on this video but the quality is very low to see the difference on the 39 ball).
10. The post process shaking is then stopped (5:09) and a cameraman takes control of the tripod. Derren begins walking over to the left, hesitating for a moment as he seems unsure if the timing is right (if the overlay is still there it'll obviously be disastrous when he disappears behind it). He then reveals the balls and is hailed as our new psychic overlord.

Wow, two LiveLeak overlays/watermarks.
Wrong guy in the wrong place at the wrong time.
>> ^notarobot
Sorry, I'm with calvados. A random overlay like that is not enough to qualify it.

Eyes Wired Shut: For Schapelle Corby
Having said that spoco2... I see you voted for it... so maybe I was a we bit harsh on you. :-)
I think it's a great video (and no, I didn't make it!). They way they've sync'd the footage with the lyrics isn't easy to do from my experience. And the news announcement overlay and Schapelle crying aren't on the original song, so they've integrated that very well.
72 YO Grandmother TASERED For Not Signing Traffic Ticket
Meanwhile, 72 year old Winkfein told her side of the story to her local Fox station, MyFox7, saying “I wasn’t argumentative I was not combative, OK? This is a lie, all of this is a lie. Pulled away from him, I did not.”

already told lucky about that problem and he said it´s not easy to fix without getting into serious voodoo hacking but he told me a workaround:
Just use: http://videosift.com/login for logging in

I guess the iPhone gets lumped in with Safari? I have real trouble logging in on mine, as it doesn't allow me to set the focus to the username box on the overlay. Is there a buglist for such Sift related stuff?
