I was about the reply to Bobknight - to say basically the same thing.

Unfortunately, a lot of us who are "liberal" can't understand this. There is truth to it, I'm not going to say that it isn't batshit crazy but for instance, I worked 5 days at a design temp job (before I quit and got the job of a lifetime a week later) and the owner was an older lady. She listened to FOX news ALL DAY long, totally in the box and in the zone for the alt-right mentality.

She, as a small business owner, who probably has other "conservative"(extremist) friends on the Chamber of Commerce (of which she was a part of) really believed that Trump as a "BUSINESS" person would be a great president in creating a better economy for"business"(tax loopholes everywhere, YES!!! No living wage or minimum wage increases, YESSS!!! fucking dicks the lot of em). I had to listen to this shit for those 5 days, but yeah - people really believe(d) it. There are business people out there, who aren't Bobknights eating doritoes in that wheel-less, rusted, mobile home in the trailer park waiting for the next tornado to plop down on tornado alley and give them the ultimate ride to the otherside, that believed in having a business person in the white house a good thing (fucking capitalists and terribly ignorant poor people IMO lol).

Media is in a real shithole these days. I mean, I still listen to Democracy Now! & NPR... but everything is slanted one-way or another...

indeed, about 5ish years ago, i was having dinner at a buffet and this older lady and gentlemen walked in followed by two other older ladies, i learned from the older man that he was 96, the smaller lady was his wife who was 104 (she looks about 70ish) and the two other women was there daughters who were each in there 60's, i sat there just dumbfounded at all the history these four new as "life" and all i had were crappy books and lame ass teachers in school.

I'm a man.. but that older lady needs her lights punched out and not a single person in that bar was inclined to help. imo every one in that place needs to be bitch slapped.

I started smoking weed when I was 15. I don't think, like some hardcore supporters do, that it's a magical drug that will lead us all to nirvana.

That being said, the hypocrisy on the part of the government disgusts me. In France, they've banned msg. Pot is also illegal in France, but at least they are being consistent. It's funny because just last night I went out for some mcd's. I haven't eaten any mcdonald's in a few months. I swear people... Ok I was a little hungry but still... I couldn't describe to you how bad I was fiending for that McChicken. I felt it in me, if someone would've come by and tried to take it away I would've FUCKED them up.

I've never felt that with weed. I might go a few weeks without smoking and then really want to smoke because having gone a few weeks without, I'll get a nice buzz. I might think as I'm about to light up, "Damn this is going to be sweet, and then smoke and be like MmMmm." But not like my desperation for that McChicken last night. And I've smoked way more joints in my life then eaten McChicken's.

So why's it like this? Well, I think it's religions fault probably. Religious people don't do "drugs". But they got no beef(pun not intended) with a McWrap.

Furthermore, in regards to driving stoned. I drive stoned. When I first starting driving I said to myself I'll never drive stoned. But after a couple times of doing it anyways, I got comfortable with it and I'm telling you I can drive just as well if not better(due to feeling relaxed and not in a rush) as sober.

I can't drink and drive tho. I would not drive drunk and I fucking can't stand driving even tipsy. I've driven tipsy before it's not fun. I don't feel comfortable doing it. I'm likely to not feel my speed unless I'm scared and staring at the speedometer. It's hard to describe how I feel driving tipsy. I just feel handicapped vs the other people on the road. Also, I live in Quebec and people drive aggressively here.

Anyways smoking weed might mildly impair your reflexes, but it doesn't affect your motor skills. So if a retard runs out into the middle of the street, you might not react in time. But you won't jump the sidewalk and kill an older lady going out for a power walk.

Also, alcohol makes me a little aggressive. Not enough to go out looking for a fight, but enough to hope someone else does.

Weed makes me completely docile.

Also, it hasn't been a gateway drug for me. Shrooms is the only other drug I've ever done.

my wife knew an older lady who was a registered sex offender. All because her son looked at content on her computer. It was her computer so she was charged with the crime.

I haven't seen that statement, but I doubt it means sponsors like "people who pay you to represent a product". It could mean parents or guardians... I have no idea though. It just seems that if it was meant to be faked then they could have easily written something "believable". If I found out one of my (hypothetical) kids was posting stuff like that about their brother/sister then I'd sure as hell have it taken down immediately.

It may be fake, but if it is then that is some amazing acting and composure. What is more likely, a kid having severe emotional problems, or two brothers and an older lady faking multiple videos flawlessly without ever once breaking character?

In today's world where we're fed lies and bullshit by the media and our own governments, where (british examples only sry) you can get fined MORE for leaving your bin lid open by 3 inches than shoplifters get fined for stealing, 4 burly binmen force a frail older lady to carry her own bin down her drive because they consider it "too difficult", where police abuse their powers on a seemingly daily basis, and where we seem too apathetic to protest our country going to a war we don't believe in

THIS is what i love to see, THIS is how we should be showing our discontent, THIS is how we should demonstrate not just to our own government but to the people suffering as a result of our governments, that, to quote El Duderinho, THIS AGGRESSION WILL NOT STAND MAN!

I was fucking cheering them on. Unfortunately, if we want to show our discontent in this way, some people will HAVE to break the law and possibly get incarcerated. Because police can cause harm to you within the law, but you can't cause harm to them (ie. to stop THEM causing harm to innocents/people protesting for the good of our future)

I expect, nay hope, to see this in great britain soon due to many things happening atm:
- Reverse racism/reverse political correctness, where you're not allowed to express yourself or your opinions to the full extent for fear of upsetting other people (people get sacked, fined, arrested, villified because of it)
- Political correctness gone mad - where money, time and other resources are wasting in order to find a way of saying or doing things that cannot possibly offend anyone in any way
- Rediculous fines and charges and bill hikes in order to shore up more income to be wasted in the usual manner
- Police chasing statistics and allowing people in danger/in distress to handle it (or not) themselves
- National health service allowing people to become MORE ILL in our hospitals due to neglect and waiting lists, some of those waiting having funded the NHS for 50 years of their life to find they're second in line to a scrounging sponger who never contributed a penny to the services they rape
