Nudibranchs of Papua New Guinea Are The Coolest Creatures
When I was in Marine Biology (for years) I always thought of nudibranchs as sea slugs with style. Some more than others.
One-Legged Batman Swimming??
The "nudibranch" looks nearer on that one.
I don't think that is a ray -- I've never seen a ray with a neck/head that extends that much away from the fins.
My first guess was that it is some kind of invertebrate... Maybe an echinoderm (more like a sea cucumber than an urchin) or more likely a weird sort of nudibranch?
Very neat shape and swimming technique, in any case.
