How 'Pro-Choice' are Democrats?

I could easily spin their point the opposite way & state that
'Although you believe that an organism coming out of another individuals body is the same exact premise as what that person chooses to ingest, why then should these businesses providing abortions be restricted in the marketplace of consumer demand by governments prohibiting these services while also pertaining to be for less governmental restriction & free-market capitalism?'.
Forget soda, Reason.tv will ROT your brain.

By "organism", I assume you mean, "human"...both the law and pretty much all persons are pretty settled on this point that once it is birthed it is a human

This video isn't about restriction abortion either, it is about using the same logic in all part of our lives. The hardest part of the abortion debate is that all western talk of rights is about how states and people manage their contractual parts. Fetuses and babies are completely unable to participate in this debate...we are speaking for them. That makes these problems intractably hard to deal with. To put it another way, the birthing process is like no other process we deal with in life; the "person"/baby/fetusthingy isn't a one, and the mother is a one that brings forth another one. Birthing is the processes of making more others using a one. Ones coming out of ones, really hard to deal with with our mental tools, IMO. If the abortion issue is easy for someone, they are thinking inside a very small paradigm. Perhaps I am mistaken. Perhaps it is super easy and I am making it more complex. What does seem clear is that people like to think they are right and not really exert much effort in thinking about it from the other perspective. Perhaps that is why I can look at both the video above and the daily show video and enjoy them. Sometimes, I feel like the only free man in the world.

Your 50 million is way off the # was 30 Million and that does don't divide who can afford but choose not to get it and whose who really cant afford healthcare. That # is reported around 12 million.

Now is it worth you paying 2600 more in insurance just to cover 12 Million?

>> ^truth-is-the-nemesis:

YES, 23 Million American's out of work is a disgrace - But so is 50 Million American's who do not have health insurance, when is help coming for them?.

There are serious allegations in a number of states that Romney used illegal tactics to manipulate the results during the GOP primaries. Do a search on youtube. Some of the states were Maine, Minnesota, OH, and OR. Also the GOP changed the rules right before the convention so that a states delegates couldn't vote against the primary outcome even as a protest. So if you felt that the primary was stolen and your role as a delegate was usurped, I'd imagine you'd be pretty upset.

In reply to this comment by truth-is-the-nemesis:
I am seriously having difficulty understanding the logic of the Ron Paul supporters, they knew that Paul was not speaking, they knew that Romney was the candidate for the republican party & they also know that Paul did not agree to the terms of speaking & not choosing to opt for a third-party run. So, it seems like they just wanted to rant and rave at how corrupt the system is because THEIR guy didn't win.

While not the greatest fan of your steady fare of human foible and suffering, or the abundant cute-overlord, we appreciate the energy and sincerity of your work. We especially appreciate, and personally applaud your taking the reigns from that zealous patriot of politics-at-large and NPR junkie, your hubster, NetRunner, who was about to induce embolism through steady threat of perfusion leading up to and during, the 2008 Election.

How is ol' NetRunner these days?? We get the impression the fire is but an ember or burning brightly elsewhere..

The Olympic Ticket Scalper with Patrick Stewart and Friends

It must be great being Patrick Stewart.
He literally cannot be in a bad production. The worst script in the world becomes a masterpiece by his mere participation.
What was that? Nemesis? I'm sorry, I think you're breaking up...

Unfortunately you didn't see the very crappy made for TV movie of "Moby Dick" he stared in (for a bung load of money) ... By an Australian TV company ... I work for an Australian TV Company .. their standards aren't the best.

Tom Hardy "StarTrek" screentest vs actual scene

jmd says...

nemesis was fine as an "epic episode".. not quite so much as a movie. Although it beat out Insurrection easily. ANY star trek fan would be doing themselves a disservice to just skip over it.

As for the first comment.. lets just say for as many people who thought the screen test was better, there are just as many who think the final cut was better. The thing is they were both great.

It´s pretty clear after looking at this that much of Bane´s character in TDKR is Hardy rather than actor direction by Nolan. I heard Nemesis is awful and hadn't planned on seeing it, but now I'm curious.

Don't bother. It is horrible. Two words that don't belong anywhere near Star Treks should be all I have to say: dune buggy.
