That actually isn't too far from reality for me, if you leave out banging the table. One of the songs my 2 year old loves before going to bed is this punk version of Nelly The Elephant. Once I get him into bed, as he goes to sleep a regular request is one of my usual songs (generally Monty Python or similar) sung as a monster in a gruff shouting voice.

Whatever gets the little feckers angels to sleep.

Jesus, so many Negative Nellys here. Can't a movie be fun without it trying to be deep or full of symbolism? Some movies can be simple, straight forward and be a hell of a ride.

Nice change of tone on videosift in the last few months I see. Interesting.

If there were a few more "sad" "negative nellis" that "feel inadequate" when faced with such talent, we would have been spared many stupid movies that started of as one nice special effect and had NOTHING ELSE to bring to the table.

Just imagine a world without G.I.Joe, Matrix (at least Nos. 2 and 3), Transformers 1-3, Avatar, Clash Of The Titans, etc. etc. etc..a happier, saner place I'm sure.

Till around half time of this chase scene, I counted about 35 up-shifts and maybe 3 down-shifts and then I lost interest.

By the way this is very reminiscent of traditional Mongolian wrestling, especially with the ceremonial march raising hands in the air. The wrestling also reminds me of Swiss and Korean folk wrestling, where rules specify both contestants wear a specially made pants. While in Greco-Roman wresting traditions no such ceremonial marching or special gears exist.
