He’s terrified because on Monday “his” properties begin being seized. He has filed in court insisting it’s impossible for him to even get a bond for his judgement and can’t pay it so needs a stay or massive reduction, begging the court for leniency and mercy, and at the same time ranting on social media that he has $500 million in cash he could put up but he just doesn’t want to, the court is all corrupt and playing political games not applying laws, and he’s publicly thumbing his nose at them.
What do you think the court is going to do with that? 😂

It all crashes down Monday, when everything he owns gets seized and it’s still not enough to cover his debts, much less his upcoming multi million dollar legal bills from 4 criminal cases. It’s hilarious people believed he was so rich, thinking anything his name was on is his…it’s not. Even the few properties he “owns” are really usually owned 90-95% by banks or partners. My understanding is he has a $25 million mortgage on MarALago that’s only worth $18 million unincumbered! Guaranteed it’s not alone being underwater. Note, if he was correct that his properties were really worth 100 to 1000 times what he claims for tax purposes he would have no problem at all selling just one for way more cash than he needs, but he can’t. Because 1) they are not worth more than the tax evaluations and 2) all his properties are already mortgaged to the hilt…he doesn’t own them the banks/business partners/foreign governments do. Most famously Trump tower that he only owns his apartment, a few offices, and the public lobby bathrooms, not the entire building by far….and that’s not an outlier it’s the norm.

Considering its glowing reception so far, it would be a surprise if they don’t try to find a way to extend it. It’s a rare successful idea that isn’t repeated to death by Hollywood…this is already the second time around for this story (and it sounds like it’s much better than the first from what I’ve read).
It would be a shame to change countries…it’s a fictionalized but semi-historical drama, so the story can continue for centuries with barely any plot writing required, just dialog.

The finding of reality came last year when he couldn’t provide any evidence to contradict the fraudulent contradictory filings he had made.
This trial was only about disgorgement of the ill gotten gains he made through that fraud.
I watched much of it, it absolutely wasn’t a railroad job, his team was given more leeway than any defense team in recent history, every opportunity to put on a defense, they had none, and were clueless about court procedures which could have led to sanctions and contempt charges, and would have for any other defendant.

It was a near hit job, railroaded by his own lawyer’s complete incompetence, and that’s going to end his appeal too, she can’t appeal anything not brought up at the first trial (and SURPRISE! Ineffective council is not a cause for appeal in civil courts…D’OH!). This means Trump has nothing to appeal, and would have to put up all the $350 million in cash in what amounts to escrow before he can even file one. He doesn’t have it, so can’t even try to appeal. I won’t be surprised if he can’t come up with the $89 million to appeal the Carrol decisions. 😂
