Republicans Are The Party Of Birthers, Baggers And Blowhards

Drax says...

haha.. I like this comment quote from YT: "Like I always say, Fox News is like a strip club: miserable, pessimistic, ugly middle aged men, and a bunch of blondes who will do anything you tell them as long as you pay them enough."

Craig Ferguson Takes the High Ground

kymbos says...

Yeah, I don't know. The Haiti thing aside, I'm unsure about someone inside the late night tent pretending he's not interested in the goings on of late night. He cares, it's big news. It's not Haiti Big News, but for the middle-aged men in late night, it's big. At least the other hosts are being honest in going on about it.

Why Switzerland Has the Lowest Crime rate in the World

ChaosEngine says...

Hmmm, and yet the US has a higher crime rate and a higher gun ownership rate.

I don't really get it. They claim they can "mobilise a pretty large army, even by European standards." Ok, but composed of what? I somehow doubt a bunch of middle aged men who had a year or two of military service 20 years ago and spend weekends at a rifle range are a match for professional soldiers.

I've never been in the military, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to combat than just the ability to use a gun.

Yeah, Intel is currently the way to go wrt graphic stuff and linux unless you need 3d.

I've also noticed the bandwidth thing, but thought the problem was more due to the different geographical locations of youtubes server clusters. Some work fine, others you'll need to start buffering and come back half an hour later to get decent quality.

With ubuntu, things really took a leap forward for desktop linux stuff. The hard part is actually working through problems rather than just throwing up your hands and going back to windows. So kudos for hanging on; some things are still lacking but all in all the switch is worth it.

And I'm currently busy busy busy in the real world. Too many projects at work and so little time...

Well the stutter problem came back a little. It only happens on certain video hosts too like YouTube and Metacafe. Vimeo and most others are fine. I did more research on the issue and learned that nVidia's drivers are problematic on a lot of Linux distributions. A bunch of Linux geeks even made an online petition begging nVidia to make their Linux drivers open source so that they could make them work better. Oh well.

I'm also switching my ISP so I can have a faster connection. It will be going from from 1.5 Mbps to 8.0 Mbps. I'm hoping that might help, because I've noticed that the longer it takes the video to buffer, the greater the chance the video will stutter or just plain stop. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Otherwise everything else is fine. It's easier to use than I initially thought it would be, and it only seems to be getting easier. Here's to brave middle-aged men.

Thanks for checking. Hope everything is going well for you.

'This is called the PenisTron...'

After watching the clip I had to watch the whole documentary and it is the second I've seen on the subject. While I understand the need for extremely introverted and handicapped people to release their sexual frustration. I believe this sex doll buying behavior as mostly wrong. Any extended delusion that does not end at some point is wrong. Books, movies, games all end at some point and we return to reality (most of us). Even when we sexually fantasize and play with ourselves we know its not real. But when middle aged men start talking about the inanimate doll's personality and facial expressions (in the documentary), this is disturbing on an entirely new level. I don't think this will ever become a social norm, nor should it be.

on the internet all the girls are middle aged men, all the boys are FBI agents and all the videos are fake.

Apparently fake is the new first. Maybe first was the new fake and I have just forgotten.

YAY! We can turn out the lights and play "who's in me?"

Ooh! Looks pretty swanky. I'm surprised they let you move in there.

Hey dude, if I ever make it out to Cali I fully intend to visit Chez Rottenseed. Maybe I can even hit on the aforementioned punani. I bet they go absolutely wild for middle-aged men with paunches and a hint of gray hair. And carrying a gun. I never travel anywhere without my Uzi.

I am as cheery as a rotten seed can be. I'm moving to Pacific Beach, CA tomorrow. A place where the only thing that dwarfs the amount of sea water is the amount of young, juicy, bikini-clad punani. I'm tellin' you, if you ever wanna risk a visit to the coast...

It's only been active for a couple of days. IssyKitty just made it. One of the privileges of being a diamond. So cheer up, fucker.

dude...there's a fucking "happy" channel?! Since when???

In reply to this comment by kronosposeidon:
If a person can't find that *cute, nor if it makes you *happy, then that person is disturbed.

And before some wiseacre says something about Mr. Bocelli's eyes being shut the whole time: He's blind.

Glock Full-Auto Fun

MarineGunrock says...

It's not illegal at shoots like that. Many areas host machine gun shoots that are well-regulated. The gun to his left, for instance, is a M240G, 7.62mm medium machine gun. But yes, it would be illegal for a private citizen to have something like that in his house.

There's still nothing funnier than fat middle-aged men who think they're cool because they own/shoot things that are from the military.
