What is this narcissistic nightmare? Why is she famous? She is a mediocre singer, a mediocre dancer, produces mediocre songs and has shown little to no artistic growth for her 30+ year career. And what's with using younger, more interesting acts as fashion accessories? Wouldn't it be more interesting to let MIA, Cee Lo or LMFAO cut loose rather than have to watch Madonna lip sync her way through a late midlife crisis? And, unless you are Snoop Dogg, putting your own name in your own song is just sad.

The reason I sifted this obscure video isn't because I agree with everything this guy is saying. Maybe I'm going to make a point that he wasn't intending. ...

1. The independent media in Canada is close to nothing. We don't have a comparative to Democracy Now let alone any national broadcast publicizing any human rights or labour rights.

2.In Canada we don't have a labour columb or a reporter investigating that of, They're gone.

3.What the majority of older Canadiians look at and/or liston to for foreign affairs and locol politics is CBC. Which used to have great journalists but has been transformed into pundiits or people reading a teleprompter; basiclly if you want to know what's happening around the world ther CBC is now useless.


4.Canada needs independent media.

5,I grew up listening to the CBC. And I wish it was better. If you want to know what's going on around the world unfortunately Canada is MIA. We ho1nestly haven't put forward the resources to have a discussion tomake our own country work.

Found a bit more over at Correio do Povo from RS.
1) It was an organized event. The rides for Critical Mass are held on the last Friday of every month. Along with this, there were more than the normal amount due to them celebrating the inauguration of a newly opened "cultural space" in the city called "City of Bicyclists".
2) The manager of the Public Company for Transportation and Circulation (EPTC) was aware of the gathering from Critical Mass (since it's held on the same day every month), but did not receive any requests to accompany or provide security for the event.
3) The police have classified this as multiple attempted homicides, not an accident. As mentioned in the title of the post, the car has been found (a VW Golf) but the owner of the car is MIA. It's still unknown who was driving the car.
4) The president of the City Council of Porto Alegre has promised to set in motion the implementation of bike lanes for the city (which were already approved...just not started).
5) The Critical Mass group has already stated that next month's "rally" will be held in front of the house of the owner of the car.
