Aftermath November 2016

Got your back pal ... *quality first post

I'm of similar mind with this woman. For me it was all about the "who" Donald Trump is [and who the hell even knows THAT for sure?]. I'm not against change but casting a vote for this particular [fill in your choice of unlimited colorful adjectives] condones absolute chaos and fear on multiple levels and platforms. Now ... IF your vote compromised any deeply held moral convictions or human decency values in any way, I have zero respect and feel only contempt. The manchild hasn't even been sworn in and it's as if the nation has been set back 60 years already.

True Facts About The Mantis

Angry Geek flips table (rage quit)

Locque says...

I think it lends considerable credibility to the act when he has a physique that instantly recalls endless hours spent in front of a tv or pc. You know that he's a hgue nerd, so believing he's some kind of socially inept manchild is much easier. I know an act when I see one though. Usually. The voice is just a step too far.

Obama Responds to Homeless Woman, then Rougy Gets the Mic

spoco2 says...

I think there may be a very good reason why that manchild is still working at McDonalds... and it's not anything to do with the state of the economy.

Wow... some people really scare me!

You have to think that inside Obama's head he's going 'HOLY MOLY! What is this kid on... ok, keep a straight face... keep it together, don't laugh... and certainly don't run... just... just... phew this is tough... keep a straight face'

Obama Thanks A Marine

Winstonfield_Pennypacker says...

Of course there's nothing wrong with shaking a Marine's hand and the Marine responding. But you know what? There's nothing 'cool' or special about it either. President's don't regularly stop to shake the hands of the honor guards because if they did they'd be doing it ALL FREAKING DAY. Every time the President gets of a chopper, a boat, a plane, or out of his car he'd be stopping to shake the hands of his honor guard. So they don't do it often - DUH. Do you stop to shake the hand of every Wal-Mart greeter? Every cashier? Every grocery store stocker? Every janitor?

So the manchild Barry gets zero props for this stunt. Maybe he was being nice. More likely he was just doing a deliberate photo op. Either way to pretend like he's somehow 'cool' or 'real' or anything for doing it is stupidity. Just like his fake apology for the Daschle fiasco. You want to be an Obama zombie and wet yourself with pleasure over these pathetic attempts at 'genuineness'? Go ahead. All it does is prove you're a tool.

Paul "Pee Wee" Reubens on 70s The Gong Show

joedirt says...

"One of them had recently been a contestant on “The Gong Show” (1976-1980) and recruited the young actor, now going by Paul Reubens, to do a routine with her on the show. He agreed, despite the fact that up until this point he considered himself a serious dramatic actor and had not thought about doing comedy. Their routine, “The Hilarious Betty and Eddie,” was a hit with the judges. During the late 1970s, Reubens ended up appearing on the show 15 times, playing various characters and winning four times, but he always expected to be gonged.

The “Gong Show” experience led Reubens to an improvisational group in Los Angeles called The Groundlings, in which members were proactive in writing their own material and developing their own characters. Reubens already had more than a dozen or so characters, but in 1979, introduced a new character named Pee-Wee Herman in a Groundlings sketch that took such children's television icons as Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Rogers one step further. Pee-Wee was a manchild-ish hybrid of Howdy Doody’s appearance and a children’s show host’s sensibilities, only with a slightly more mischievous side."
