Sorry. I've just never been able to get in to Stanhope. Perhaps it's my distaste for him during the Man Show remake, but I just can't connect with about half of his material.

As a police officer I feel that our freedoms are more important than throwing out a net to catch a few fish. Unless the man shows SOME sign of intoxication then his detention beyond a few moments are illegal. The sergeant showed a lot of restraint but she could see that the motorist showed no intoxication and it would be illegal to detain him.

The guy may be an ass but he could have been much worse or offensive than simply refusing to answer a question. He is not under any obligation to answer questions. If he had one drink and answered truthfully then he would have been detained further. Most every cop I ever knew drank some alcohol, then drove. Many cops drive drunk at one time or another.

Jimmy Kimmel likes pulling dickish pranks. I've noticed this especially during 'The Man show' years. He is funny, but sometimes his sense of humor makes me very uncomfortable.

And some of the comments here too are very dickish, deeming people as stupid morons because you don't have an interest in the topic. And ironically reveals the simple-mindedness of its author.

I thought it might be... I'm posting this here so no one else will go looking.

This reminds me of a documentary I saw that was on VBS. It was about how in this town in Mexico boys pretty much have to have sex with a donkey to become "experienced" before they sleep with a girl/woman for the first time. All of the women knew about it & laughed - shrugged it off as apart of their culture. It was definitely a bizarre all around but moreso when an older man showed VBS how it is done....
