One Way To Deal With A DUI Checkpoint (Refusal)

Of course a breathalyzer is a search. They are searching your blood for alcohol by analyzing the breath that you exhale. To search you any more thoroughly would require a glove and lubrication.

Too Much Wind isn't Good: Wind turbine catches fire

radx says...

Look at this clip. The turbine head shouldn't pivot freely on its axis, and if the blades were feathered and locked, yet still spinning, it ought to cause a fuckload of friction and stress on the brakes and the gearbox, doesn't it?

The flaming mixture of oil and lubricant makes for nice special effects though.

So it's not possible to believe homosexuality is wrong without being a "hater?"
Bullshit.

So, it's wrong to be born homosexual?
Bullshit.

I think It could be fair to call the physical sexual aspect of homosexuality a disorder , although that's not necessarily a bad thing , its one of those things that has very few negative effects the only grounds for which I would say its a "disorder" are the following

I would think given the choice most gay men or women would rather be equpid with sexual organs that better function for sexual enjoyment from each other without so much hassle or that can operate with less risk of health implications ( in the case of men).

for example Interims of the machinery of sexual enjoyment a penis and vagina function far better together mechanically than a penis and a anus or a vagina and vagina. ( vagina lubricates itself , is less prone to tairing , when it does brake has more ability to repair itself , it has a balance of microbes that can better protect and reduce the risk of infection ) With vagina and vagina sex I think you could argue that its less intimate than penal sex with a vagina and if lesbian woman could have a lesbian penis then im sure they would use that over fingers or other body parts.

due to the Psychological aspect of sexual enjoyment obviously some people prefer a dick in an ass then a dick in a vagina , or would rather rub up against a statue or a tree. but I'm sure if you give them the ability to chose what they could enjoy they would pick vagina penis sex.

However I don't see how the emotional side of homosexuality could be construed as a disorder as There is no real negative consequence ( other than idiotic cultural conventions) from loving another human regardless of what there sex might be. ( unless gays were a super minority but at between 15-25% of the population its not going to be that hard for a gay person to find a partner)

If at birth you could have it so that people didn't need to be gay then it may be better to not have people be gay. But fact is that will never really happen and we have also got to the point where techanloicaly gay people can reproduce and function as normal or more so than anyone else , furthermore the fundamental differences between a gay mind and a straight mind probably is of social and cultural bnofit to a society as a whole.

Building A Miniature V-12 Engine From Scratch.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Well then, I would like to see the smallest possible V12 where this was possible. Surely you could go pretty small. >> ^BoneRemake:

@Boise_Lib
The main problem is not the fuel to air mixture rate, the spark plugs/distributor or anything that would deal with making the cylinders fire, I speculate the main problem is heat. Having the engine liquid cooled with pump and radiator would not work, it would generate to much heat or it would be to difficult to produce the veins the coolant goes through, not to mention you would need it to be lubricated with oil pump etc.
I think they use air because it gets the parts moving and produces a rotational output, to make it fire on vapors would be a very difficult task.

I think one of us is doing Math wrong, I'm worried it might be me.

I wasn't surprised by the dead rabbit's answer, since it is exactly the same as my European friends from Uni. What I was wondering was whether he, as an American/UK studies student, could explain the differing viewpoint... and whether perhaps the English translations a monolingual visitor would read might not use das komma, aber der punkt (I hope I got that right .

I suspect it might be one of those questions which will just go un-answered.

Oh disturbing numbers, what have you done?
I never use these points when I am doing Math in private (dark room, candles, lubricant - no questions)
but for the sake of readability I inserted them without even thinking about points and commas, what the dead rabbit explained is absolutely right nonetheless.

Fun fact: If we say decimal numbers in German we go "one comma five" (Eins Komma Fünf) for "1.5" instead of "one point five". So your "decimal point" is exactly equal to our "Komma".

I have an American/UK studies question for you, if you have a minute to spare.

In the Patriotic-Millionaires-TAX-ME video, your countryman luxury_pie put in a comment using the period as a thousands separator and the comma as the decimal radix... which I would expect as I have always been taught that much of continental Europe uses this convention. Then in later discussion an Englishman who has traveled widely in continental Europe and lived in Spain pointed out that in his travels, he has never seen this.

So, my question is how widely is each convention used in Germany in the parts an English speaking visitor would encounter? Should he have come across the period thousands separator and/or the comma decimal radix at all? Road signs? Menus?

The on-line (American!!!!) information just says that in Germany this is how it is, and never says "oh, but in shops the price might use a period".

Gears you have never seen before !

What about friction? Seems like this type of gear would need a lot of lubrication and even then it just looks like it would have a lot more wear over time... then again, I have no idea.

No biggie. A rear differential is half or more full of fluid already. If lubrication issues are a problem all you need to do is modify the gears to draw the fluid up as it's turning. Not as hard as it seams.

Molotov Cocktail Fail

That's what I meant, naplam can burn on water haha! So, it's still dangerous. >> ^ant:

>> ^shagen454:
He's lucky because if he made the cocktail correctly it acts as napalm with a certain amount of jelly/lubricant. Also, I hate when people go to their favorite outdoor spot and break glass. I hope he stepped on some.

Lucky to be in the water too!
