I forgot about those.
Very pretty.
Next do Lite Brite.

I tend to stay away from bars for that very reason. Everyone's obnoxious to someone else, innit? Have seen my own death though, it does not involve gunshots.
For some reason I'm guessing your death involves a lite-brite, a tub of vaseline, and a scale model of Che Guevera selling land he didn't own to farmers for their participation in the revolution.
Who would you vote for? (User Poll by blankfist)
^I'd vote for quantumushroom, but everyone knows that it's actually his Lite Brite who'd be pulling all the strings and handing out no-bid contracts to all his Lite Brite cronies. Luck Fite Brite!

All those choices were either commies or libertarians in complete denial of the dangerous world out there. I could do a better job than all of them combined, with a Lite Brite that reads YOU ROCK! as my VP.
Drum Sequencer Design Has Balls

vairetube, you're thinking of Yamaha's TENORI-ON which is actually available for purchase, though only in the UK at this point from what I can tell. 599GBP gets you all the lite-brite music sequencing fun you could ever need.

Are you ready for your Mystery Date?
You didn't miss much on the Easy-Bake Oven, Maudlin. At best, the cake mixes were just thick enough to cover the pan. Then you'd get a somewhat crunchy little cake to make daddy eat. Then you'd forget it plugged in and set the carpet on fire.
The Lite-Brite was cool though. You could arrange them to make them look like a neato control panel if you wanted to play spaceship stuff
Are you ready for your Mystery Date?
I didn't. I also didn't have a Lite-Brite or an Easy-Bake Oven.
I'll just sulk over here now.

Just fire off a comment in the video thread and the goldies will wander in and decide if a *-nochannel is in order.
I don't think a complicated fix is necessary - there's minimal abuse of the channel system.
Whether a video has "too many channels" is not a question of number, but of relevance. If the channel is appropriate, it can run all. The video you cited hits politics with the presidential intro and music by virtue of being a music video - geek and robots go hand in hand. Comedy applies if it's funny. This whole IED thing is funny. Which leaves us with what is arguably the most subjective channel - in this instance, anyway: cute.
You coudl either argue that lite brite robots are cute, or that the animation/puppet president is cute. IMHO, cute is borderline in this case, but I would give sometimes the benefit of the doubt, as it does have basic elements of cute - how much of it is a subjective factor.
I can only wait with gleeful anticipation to see what kind of debates the Art channel will spark.
Alert Siftbot! "bomb-like" structures have been spotted! and threaten the very infrastructure of VS. (Sift Talk Post)
the fact that a post-9/11 America is scared of a giant Lite-Brite is really disconcerting... what the hell is wrong with Boston?
