So I'll tell you again, no, and it's not arsonists in Oregon either, antifa or not, maybe a few, but not a statistically significant number. It's lighting and wind and accidents in California and Oregon and Washington. A massive lightning storm hit the west in mid August sparking fires everywhere, and unprecedented dryness and high temperatures has kept those and other fires alive since.
The newest right wing claim is that climate change has nothing to do with the fires, they're all antifa arson. Of course I assumed that's what you were referencing when you erroneously claimed many of the Oregon fires were arson.

Today and yesterday I spent laying in the sun (yes we get sun in ireland from time to time), and watching an airshow whilst bobbing in the water under the flightpath and snorkelling about frightening crabs Then I make it to GOLD!! Now I'm treated to a first rate lightning storm! Woo hoo!! What a great couple of days!

I do believe this is a smelly fake. and pretty much anyone who's been photographing lightning storms or just seen it close up a couple of times will tell you the same.

me, I've actually seen a lightning strike at about the same distance more than once and for one, it would have hit a tree, especially since there were some that close - and it obviously didn't because you can see when a lightning hits a tree (it's quite the physical force).
second, lightning that close to the ground would only be seen as an almost direct line, it's a lot higher above the ground that it splits and chains, and it certainly wouldn't have been 'caught' in at least 3 frames as it is in this video, it's a lot shorter than that.

so the sound might've been genuine, and they might've seen a real lightning close nearby, but I suppose they didn't catch it on film and decided to fake it. shame on them.
