Craig Ferguson was my favorite. Not consistently funny, but consistently dangerous.

There was a period when Letterman was my guy, but the feeling faded.

Still. I watched all three final episodes the last week. I enjoyed the heck out of them.

I noticed that following night that Kimmel was a rerun, and thought it had to do with Letterman. So I flipped to see if Fallon made the same gesture.

Nope.

Class indeed.

Ah, man, but back in the day Letterman was our Conan. Then Conan happened and I stopped watching Letterman! True story.

Maybe he shouldn't have helped out Conan? Juuuuuust kidding... not.

Top 10 things I respect Dave Letterman for:

(don't really care for him otherwise, always thought Conan, Leno, Ferguson, Fallon were way funnier than Letterman. Let the flames commence!)

I recorded this DVR, but cut off at the end and found out it was still on Letterman. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/letterman-show-run-20-minutes-longer-usual-article-1.2230177 said 20 minutes more than it was supposed to be! I was able to saw the ending live and then use video on demand. Whew!
