I've never kept track of TV hosts much, and haven't generally been interested in the 'driving cars with celebs' genre, but I was impressed by Leno's comments in the interview I posted above, his plea from the basic, ordinary "no big deal, but let's just be decent" camp in US politics.

Yeah, I don't remember this. In fact, I don't remember them watching Carson. Jay Leno, yes.

This dude is faking it. AND he made it on to Leno with the faking. I'm guessing pre-programmed notes that play when the ball hits. Neat idea, but fake nonetheless.

I liked him before the Tonight Show....during his stint he stole too much and invested too little.

I still couldn't believe they brought him back.
TV didn't understand it was dieing....it wasn't Conan ...it was just dieing a little.

I was imagining Leno giving the bird. Was delighted to see him get rolled in his favorite car with his hero (and come out shaken but unharmed).

I recorded and watched his series finale. It was weak compared to other late night talk shows including Jay Leno's! Where is Jon Stewart going?

(don't really care for him otherwise, always thought Conan, Leno, Ferguson, Fallon were way funnier than Letterman. Let the flames commence!)

He's more talented a comedian that every tonight show host there's ever been (especially Leno and besides Carson and Steve Allen imltho, but Carson and Allen were another breed of comedian now innit?) He's closer in style to Steve Allen that any of them.

Conans' one funny featherduster though, but you just can't have a red-headed male as host of the Tonight Show...it's in some charter somewhere, he never had a chance, he was most-likely always meant to be a filler...

Considering his $12mil salary I hope that money either goes to charity or to the interns that all just got laid off from Jay Leno's staff. Not the paid staff mind you, just the interns.
