You simply deny any source that isn’t far right propaganda lies, so why should I bother. Even straight up .gov statistics have been discarded by you if you don’t like them.
I linked a source. You can type “google” too, right? Or is it banned in Russia, comrade? How about the DA? Police? Court records? All agree, all say the same thing, so must all be fake hit pieces.
You utter moron. I think your IQ is well below my dogs. They at least learn quickly that I’m always protecting them, always steering them in the right direction, even when it’s uncomfortable for them. You would be left to burn in the barn, insisting it’s fake fire and trying to bite.

Yes, you earn an “S” for stupid…as usual. The best grade you’ve earned in your life.

Prove me right and go silent or discount all 4. I know you have no choice as they prove my position conclusively and prove you 100% wrong.

16 seconds: The Killing of Anita Kurmann

newtboy says...

When I used to ride 30+ miles a day, I came damn close to being ended in the same type of accidents repeatedly. I learned quickly that trucks won't see bicyclists, even when they can see them, and so they demand your close attention. In this case, the truck had it's blinker on well before she passed it. She should have paid closer attention to traffic around her for her own safety.
That's not to say it's her fault, just that, as the one who will be injured or killed in an accident, it's prudent to be vigilant looking out for others driving unsafely.

All that said, since the driver knew he hit someone and drove away, only calling for police/ambulance later from another town, it should be manslaughter at a minimum, I can't fathom no charges being brought. WTF?!

Cute Jump Fail - "I'm going to POOM"

Agreed.

Allowing your children (especially adventurous boys) to climb and jump and potentially fall without possibility of serious injury is perfectly acceptable in my humble opinion.

They'll learn quickly how to do it better and safer next time. You have to allow them to develop the tools to prepare them for the adversity they'll face when you're not by their side holding a camera and laughing.

Definitely not a parenting fail. Any father worth his salt lets his kid do stupid and mildly dangerous things. It's how they learn.

things americans dont get-a young aussie girl breaks it down

curiousity says...

On my visit to Australia, two things stick out in my mind. Of course I was only there for a short time. One, those Aussies will drink me under that table every time. Sweet J! I learned quickly to accept that this is the Australian past time... or at least for most of the people I found. Second seemed to be hitting on women. In the US, it seems much more difficult where you had to almost make yourself into a jackass. In Australia, I just said, "Hi." Maybe that foreign effect?

Fair enough. But you have to admit, it's two different worlds. I'm in Roswell, NM. Aside from the celestial alien problem, we have a crime rate that is disturbingly high, and cops who are sometimes not very thoughtful, because they're underpaid and overworked. Hate to say it, but true.

Ace up there noted that I noticed, as did millions of other people, that a man set himself afire in order to draw attention to an injustice...so I guess his effort was a success...in as much as it drew attention. Did it solve the problem that he gave his life to protest against? Probably not.

That's a pretty big deal, to have that kind of dedication, to believe in something so strongly that you would voluntarily suffer one of the most cruelest fates known to man.

I'm not being cheeky, but the closest thing I can think of is when Data gave his life for Picard.

Vietnam was the prototype to Iraq and Afghanistan. And our country, the USA, is in a lot of trouble because we are watching people rob us blind and we are powerless to stop it because our government is inept and corrupt beyond remediation.

The war machine learned quickly, while the best that we can do is sit around and bitch.
