Pence Finally Tells The Truth

noseeem says...

Can only guess what BK33's video is about. Seeing "T*****'s lawer" and the "Q" in the corner, is like being offered a cold sore lipped kiss.

I'll pass.

If it was something about '16 vs '20 - it's a poor point. No one died. People were unhappy but compliant. No one lied that the votes were tainted. '16 was far more sane and civil.

AND LOOK WHO WAS INSTALLED IN 2016!

It was like a Prom fiasco where the frogs from the biology lab won both King and Queen. Just made a mockery of the Prom's First Dance.

All the more reason the objection(s) to the 2020 election was a travesty. 2016 installed one of the worst ever!

Fire Ants 3D Documentary [Official Trailer]

ant says...

I saw this YouTube 3D trailer on my king and queen ants' 80" Vizio HDTV with 3D effects. They were amazed and grossed out. However, I can't see 3D effects with my crappy compound eyes to enjoy that.

Also, it's released too. I will have to watch it one day!

chris hayes-jeremy scahill-the bush/obama relationship

VoodooV says...

The problem with this is how Americans continue to mistake the office of the president as this all powerful dictator position.

The office of the president is not a kingship, it is not totalitarian. It is one branch of three and it's not even the most powerful branch. Congress is the most powerful branch.

So whenever we have these scandals (left or right) the focus is always on the president even though they may or may not have anything to do with it. I'm not saying they're blameless, but they're certainly not the ringleader. There may be no ringleader. Whenever we have this scandal, there's always this mistaken notion that it was some grand conspiracy with very specific aims and goals and I don't think that is typically the case. I think most of these scandals are simply born out of laziness or negligence or simply just protecting one's ass. Government is a big machine (even in the right wing fantasy of small gov't, it will always be big) and it's more likely it's some unintentional screwup than some pre-meditated maneuver.

IMO, this is most evident during Bush's administration. The guy is obviously not that bright. There was something else going on behind the scenes pulling the strings. Even though Obama certainly is far more intelligent, it still doesn't change a thing that there is a bigger machinery at work and one person alone doesn't steer the boat.

And no I'm not talking about some cliche'd Iluminati-style group. You've just got a large go'vt mechanism that wields a lot of power and it's run by fallible people which is a far simpler plausible explanation.

The only way it's going to be better is if people demand it. But we don't even have half the nation voting. So you have a better than 50 percent chance that any time you hear someone complaining about the gov't...they probably didn't vote.

This idea is old. We used to have kings and dictators, but eventually people demanded something different so they came up with councils and parliaments and congresses, etc that wielded the real power, but they kept the kings and queens as a distraction, as a symbol even though they lost the bulk of their power.

Again, I'm not saying the office of the president is blameless, i'm just trying to inject some perspective.

Hot Renaissance Festival Violinist

Hive13 says...

>> ^ctrlaltbleach:

Another Texas sifter! Im actually less than an hour from the festival myself and I hardly ever go but always plan a trip in my head. You think there would be a lot of dirt about the eccentric owner on the web who fancies himself king of the area and supposedly he lives in a castle. I don't know how much of that is hearsay but eh whatev.

You should make it out there this year. It is a must see/do experience. Over 50 acres of things to do and see. Live jousting, music, magic, animal shows (the falcon show is awesome), things for kids, lots of beer and cleavage, great fair food (smoked turkey legs are a must), even live blacksmithing and glassblowing. There are a lot of people dressed up in period garb and everyone is generally pleasant. It can get crowded and if there is any rain there is mud galore, but it really is a trip back in time.

You may even catch a medieval wedding in the old chapel or the royal procession making its way through the streets, fake king and queen with a full court in tow.

My wife got "abducted" by barbarians one year. They just grabbed her and threw her over their shoulder. I had to "fight" a big, shirtless barbarian with two-handed swords to get her back. Random, but very fun.

The cats in the cupboard but it can't catch me.

External control are you gonna let them get you?
Do you wanna be a prisoner in the boundaries they set you?
You say you want to ba yourself, by christ do you think they'll let you?
They're out to get

Hello, hello, hello, this is the Lord God, can you hear?
Hellfire and damnation's what I've got for you down there
On earth I have ambassadors, archbishop, vicar, pope
We'll blind you with morality, you'd best abandon any hope,
We're telling you you'd better pray cos you were born in sin
Right from the start we'll build a cell and then we'll lock you in
We sit in holy judgement condemning those that stray
We offer our forgiveness, but first we'll make you pay

Hello, hello, hello, now here's a massage from your queen
As figurehead of the status quo I set the social scene
I'm most concerned about my people, I want to give them peace
So I'm making sure they stay in line with my army and police
My prisons and my mental homes have ever open doors
For those amongst my subjects who dare to ask for more
Unruliness and disrespect are things I can't allow
So I'll see the peasants grovel if they refuse to bow

Palaces for kings and queens, mansions for the rich
Protection for the wealthy, defence of privilege
They've learnt the ropes through history, engaged in civil war
Fighting for the ruling classes in their battle against the poor
Round every other corner stands 1984
Guardian of the future, they will implement the law
He's there as a grim reminder that no matter what you do
Big brothers system's always there with his beady eyes on you
From God to local police, in home and street and school
They've got your name and number while you've just got their rule
We've got to look for methods to undermine those powers
It's time to change the tables. The future must be ours

Be exactly who you want to be, do what you want to do
I am he and she is she but you're the only you
No one else has got your eyes to see the things you see
It's up to you to change your life and my life's up to me
The problems that you suffer from are problems that you make
The shit we have to climb through is the shit we choose to take
If you don't like the life you live, change it now it's yours
Nothing has effects if you don't recognise the cause
If the programme's not the one you want, get up, turn off the set
It's only you that can decide what life you're gonna get
If you don't like religion they say be the antichrist
They say if your tired of politics you can be an anarchist
But no one ever changed the church by pulling down a steeple
Systems aren't made of bricks they're mostly made of people
And you'll never change the system by bombing number ten
You may send them into hiding, but they'll be back again
If you don't like the rules they make, refuse to play their game
If you don't want to be a number, don't give them your name
Be exactly who you want to be, do what you want to do
I am he and she is she but you're they only you
No one else has got your eyes to see the things you see
It's up to you to change your life and my life's up to me

G20 Toronto: Plain clothes cops snatch and grab arrest

NordlichReiter says...

What makes you think that the Vandalism was done by someone who wasn't on the payroll?

What if the vandals are on the payroll, and the cops ordered to arrest said vandals don't know that there are Agent Provocateurs?

What if, the cops are arresting an Agent Provocateur to protect said Agent's cover?

What if the cops are really doing a righteous and just job by arresting a real vandal?

The evidence is circumstantial. Video footage is not enough to make a decision for, or against something.

The burning was at King and Queen, in the financial district, south-mid end of downtown.
This was in an unrelated protest area on the north end of downtown - which was designated as the safe "free speech" area.
Toronto has a very large core, we're not talking neighbouring protests here, but an area 4+ subway stops away.

Do you honestly think that the cops would have just picked someone out at random from a peaceful protest and arrested them for no reason just because they're mad? I mean, that could be what happened -- we don't know -- and if it was then this was inexcusable. But just because this happened in another area of the city from the vandalism, doesn't automatically make this unrelated. It is possible for someone to commit a crime in one part of the city and then walk to another.

Rush Limbaugh - Healthcare Is A Luxury

i have no problem with the point that healthcare is a luxury. Rich people are darwinian winners, old wealthy families are an example of that. So why culling the weak and stupid is moraly wrong from a natural point of view is beyond me.

Then you advocate the French Revolution?

The french revolution onlykilled a verry few of the rich, the puppet king and queen.
And the aristocracy was partly in bed with the bourgeoisie.
edit: and it was their revolution, and not the peoples, i.e. workers.

yeah yeah i am fucking gone but i logged in to reply to some PMs and defend the idea of "goodbye" posts.
we loved this place, put hours into it, made good friends, and feel sorry to have to leave. so we fucking said goodbye. deal with it OK? who's the crybaby here?
I'd probably stay if I could find good videos easily here (i can't) and if Lucky would fix some of the glaring errors in his bloated illogical cms. And if it didn't look so damn ugly.
To all the new users who don't know what's going on here... I argued consistently for less emphasis on comment wars, more emphasis on logical archiving and proper tagging and titling and categorisation and collectives, i argued for a strict "no ad hom" rule, and I failed. Then I got bitter about it and started ad hom as a protest. Protest also failed. So this obviously isn't the kind of place I should stay in, fucking it up for all you retards who like ad hom and bad titles.

I agree with you totally on that. Has anyone ever tried to look at the Top Videos. They are 90% total shit. It's really too bad because I liked using VS for video viewing, but now it is way too much a waste of time because the submissions and the inbred group that upvotes each other.

Not only that, they actually somehow allow retarded threads where all these lame asshole upvoted each others comments so they all got a free three power points plus stats. All in one big circle jerk.

Dag, you posted to the circle jerk so you condone it. Please STOP allowing these lame circle jerks. I'm not sure how but a handful of people seemed to single handedly destroy VideoSift. Enjoy your new playground and catshit videos. Long live the king and queen.
