Kai Remixed: SMASH SMASH SMASH mashup
I agree this mashup is pretty evil. But, at least Kai was there... to Smash, Smash, Smash and save that ladies life and take a complete psycho off the street.

All Kai needs is some cool waves and some tasty buds ... or was it tasty waves and cool buds?

Hitchhiker Gives Psycho An Ax To The Head
Sounds like the 'crazy psycho' was having a bad LSD trip... I mean, that doesn't make him any less of a crazy psycho, considering he was clearly endangering people, but the entire happening just sounds like a guy having a bad trip. Perhaps he didn't even know he was on LSD. Who knows how that happened... I mean, I wonder how this guy in a car could be dosed. It's not like he was picking up random hitchhikers. Oh... Kai said he had just been hitchhiking and was picked up by the guy.
TL;DR: Okay, crazy psycho is clearly a crazy psycho who needed to be stopped, but Kai is definitely a sketch case. My guess is it comes out that Kai dosed him for some reason and then the guy went nuts and had to be stopped.
Hitchhiker Gives Psycho An Ax To The Head
I'm pretty thoroughly confused by that as well. Did Kai have the presence of mind to flip the hatchet around and just try to knock the dude out cold as opposed to bifurcating his skull?
Very interesting story.
I'm surprised big dude's just in police custody and not the morgue after that smash-smash-suh-mash to the head with a hatchet.
Hitchhiker Gives Psycho An Ax To The Head
Anybody else think that Kai's LSD trip supernaturally externalized and caused today's fracas?

747 Crosswind Landing at Hong Kong's "Kai Tak" Airport
I'm no means an expert but I used to live there in the 80s and 90s as my dad flew for Cathay Pacific and I've only ever heard of the one 'Checkerboard' approach. Flying the jump-seat into Kai Tak was a magical experience as a kid.
Landing at HK is never easy... and yes, only the most experienced should be allowed to fly in and land there. The way the runway was aligned along with the distance from the airport to the main city... it's mind-boggling for me. But of course, this probably can pale in comparison to other insane airports out there.
Maybe someone out there knows it... but I'm wondering about this: for landing there, is there any flight path that takes you straight in, rather than turning almost 180 on the approach?
