And while Palin was governor what were the liberal vermin there doing? Why, filing spurious lawsuit after lawsuit against her, all of which were dismissed (but you know, those lawyers still want to get paid).

You can really feel the heartbreak from the union rep government school teacher over Palin letting her down. Oscar-winning performance. That is so heartbreaking... i couldn't even finish watching... Find i have this overwhelming hatred that just bubbles up hearing his voice...

Just wish horrible horrible things to him... but that accomplishes nothing and changes nothing and for the matter isn't me... so i think i'll leave this one unwatched... Upvote for those with perhaps more... fortitude.

Ditto. Not a huge fan, but this and "Sympathy for the Devil" are two of my faves by the Stones. "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)" isn't too shabby either.

^Really though, you can't expect stimulus to last much longer. You run the risk of spreading so many bubbles through the system that the next time it crashes it is insurmountable. Moreover, once price inflation starts to show its ugly face it will be much much worse for everyday ordinary people who have saving left from this first crash. I know my parents lost about 40% of their savings from the stock market plummet, but what would be even worse is the value of their savings being eroded away as it sits there in computers year after heartbreaking year. I am sad to think that our truly hardest times still lay ahead, but I actually have hope that if the system does come a tumbling down that it really was time for it. Ideologically our country seems to of lost its way. We need a revolution of mind and hard work instead of celebrity worship and recreation...trying to retire before we hit midlife. Then again...maybe I am just getting old.

I sometimes wonder if I will ever get tired of the Sigur Ros -formula- (music boxes, dramatic crescendos, heartbreaking melodies, etc; etc;)... not today.

I think it's pretty stupid company policy to antagonize your own customers. But if that's how BoA chooses to handle their clients, then that's their decision. This gal makes no bones about it. She admits she was violating company rules, disobeying the orders of her superiors, and disregarding the terms of her employment. She got fired for it. Duh.

She's not the CEO of Bank of America. She isn't the branch manager. She isn't the department manager. She's not even the 'senior customer service representative'. She's an entry level clerk with 5 months on the job. The right thing would have been to quit the job herself the second she found out how BoA runs its shop and give them a bellyfull in the exit interview.

It is pretty much a national pasttime for entry level employees to carp about the company they work for as if they were the CEO and know how to run things. And I've never met a single person in my entire life who was fired from a job but who couldn't spin a moving, heartbreaking yarn about how evil and unfair the company was for doing it.

Thank you Dag for the quality on the Sophie Lancaster video. I was hoping this would get seen, I thought it was a pretty powerful animation of a pretty heartbreaking story.

Lovely and horrifying all at once... I envy him the chance to have such a thorough farewell with his father. My mom just passed away last week, after years of losing herself to Alzheimer's and strokes. My sister had much the same experience with her than this young man did, and I couldn't be there, so I envied her as well. At the same time, it's heartbreaking and terrifying to watch someone degenerate in such a fashion, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Like so much of life, long drawn out deaths are seriously mixed experiences...
