Feynman and Nanotechnology
For the record:
100nm chip geometries are now "near antiquated".
90nm computer chip elements are now between "emerging" and "standard"
60nm computer chip elements are emerging...being built, but too expensive & failure-ridden for consumption.
Which probably means the military is using 60nm.
But graph that in your mind!
120nm - 5 years ago
100nm - 3 years ago thru present
90nm - 2 years ago thru present
60nm - emerging
did you see the jump?
Wow!
Think about this when you purchase your first roll-up cloth monitor or HDTV!
Awesome Introduction for 'Dead Rising' Video Game
Ahem QuadraPixel and EMPIRE, thanks, I was well aware of the source of my problem. Of course, the true source of my problem might well lie in not wanting to buy an HDTV in the first place, but maybe that's just me. On the other hand, the programmers could have thought to program the text to be visible for normal TVs and HDTVs in the first place, but that would have been too har - oops, wait, no, it's not that hard at all. *shrug*
P.S. It's Rembar. Rendar is a character from Star Wars.
Awesome Introduction for 'Dead Rising' Video Game
Love this game. And the tiny text problem only applies if you don't have an HDTV.
Awesome Introduction for 'Dead Rising' Video Game
This is one of the most awesome games games for the 360. And to solve your tiny text problems Rendar, get an HDTV.
Prince: The Superbowl Show (1 of 2)
Loved it, though the engineers couldha had sound repro-through the television a bit better.....unless the hdtv feed through the old box made it sound so shitty.....Loev Prince, he is the musician/songwriter/performer package, in classic troubador-gypsy style......
fav songs...Wanna be yer lover and Cream
Hyundai "Fluid" 1st w/ new HDTV Camera 2048x1080 at 1000 fps
Where's the HDTV video file so we can look at its fullness?
There's a QuickTime one at http://www.boardsmag.com/screeningroom/commercials/3714/ but it's not high quality.
Hyundai "Fluid" 1st w/ new HDTV Camera 2048x1080 at 1000 fps
At this resolution it's too hard to tell where it's HDTV and where it's CGI.
Geographical Evolution of the Five Great Religions
Yes I think quite a bit of artistic liberty has to be taken but the concept is enjoyable. For all I know its relatively believable. The jewish sectors I guess would be too small to perceive or look like flickering color noise. I'd prefer this at 1920x1200 on a HDTV Plasma with forward/backward stepping controls set to 1/10 or 100 year granularity, and the ability to show other data overlaid as different textures or colors. Say, average participant IQ ranges or income levels etc. Make it so and have it to me by Wednesday noon at the latest.

“LadyBug: Did you see the ladybug in today's Rose Parade? It was next to the big frog. The lady bug was sleeping(?) on the vertical water pipe. It is about half-way through the two hours parade.
Here's a HDTV screen capture for you if you missed it: http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/7748/118roseparadeladybugonftf6.jpg”

Rise of the Silver Surfer - first look trailer
Firefly: I still use a 19" CRT TV and a VCR. I do have a HDTV tuner card in my computer.
Rise of the Silver Surfer - first look trailer
Yes, definitely HD for my trailers.
If only I could afford a HDTV (sigh!)

Endeavor launch with intro score from 2001: A Space Odyssey
"This is a video produced originally in high definition in 2001 showing a space shuttle launch. NASA provided this video for use in Best Buy stores across the nation to be used for their HDTV promotions."
