Good Eats - The Beer Show

jonny says...

>> ^MrFisk:
The full episodes are great. I specifically spent much more time finding the whole episode for ease with which to watch.

I agree, and if it were just up to me, that rule wouldn't exist. So complain to the management, not me. I'm just trying to get an answer from dag about how he wants the rule implemented. Are these supposed to be discarded? Do we keep them until a take down notice is sent for each? Or do we just leave the rule unenforced - in which case, why have it at all?

Hi Dag-
For some reason, all the members are deleted deleted from the group. You can see that here, though the photos are still there.
I don't think I did something boneheaded...have been on honeymoon without net access from 10/8-10/20, never looked at it till this happened. I feel terrible about it..Maybe I set something up wrong?
This is first time I've setup a frappr map myself but the good eats group has been using it forever.
I wrote them yesterday at http://www.frappr.com/?a=feedback and have not gotten a response Without their help the members list can't be recovered. Seems like a new map, either with frappr or custom, is needed.
Very sorry,
Jeff

Hey Winkler, any idea why that Frappr map has stopped working?

Alton Brown on The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch

Sketch says...

Then you are missing out. He does a show called Good Eats on the Food Network, which is the perfect blend of cooking, culinary science, and anthropology lessons all in one entertaining half hour. It's cooking for geeks and it's brilliant.

He also moderates the American version of Iron Chef, which he does a good job at but in my opinion pales in comparison to the original Japanese version. And he also has another show called Feasting on Asphalt, where he takes a road trip and stops along culinary hot spots along the trail, but off the beaten bypass.

How to Brew Your Own Beer: A homebrewing primer (1 of 4)

On behalf of JD and Good Eats, thanks! I was beginning to worry this wasn't going to get him some votes.

This fella on this sift might be a bit cheesy, but guys should appreciate the art of making a good beer.

When my hubby pulls off a really nice batch after a month or so after pitching the yeast...I'm very impressed.
