I guess I should vote for this, since I've been looking forward to it for so long. Can't be bothered to listen to it though. At this point, all of his words beyond "I resign" are superfluous.

Do you have any knowledge of Alberto Gonzales' background. He's one of the most compassionate men I know of. Do some research.

I love how Sen. Leahy (and others in congress) throw around threats of hearings and subpoenas while they continue to lose the support of the American people.

According to the latest Gallup Poll congress has an 18% approval rating.

The thing I find absolutely disgusting is the COMPLETE lack of regard on Gonzales' part for this individual's suffering. Not only does he act as though he is being questioned about a parking ticket, he smirks throughout the whole exchange.

He would appear to be wholly without a shred of human compassion or decency - only concerned with his "legal" position and cover.

I'll say it again. Disgusting.

President Bush compares Iraq War to Vietnam

choggie says...

all this useless banter can be summed up in a couple a sentences-

In the quest for absolute control, the entity with the most influence, will manipulate who they will, lie, steal, kill, cheat, re-write history, plan invasions, coops, etc., to achieve their ends.
If governments happen to get in the way, they are either altered or eliminated.

Bush is a small player in this game, a pawn if you will.....and so will whoever he is replaced with, until the paradigm is altered, or replaced.

The U.S. is a holographic construct, resembling very little, a democratic republic, a democracy, or whatever fanciful notions one may use with which to describe it.

Blah Blah Blah Bush sucks, blah blah blah Rumsfeld, blah Gonzales...blah blah blah terrorists.......

It's illegal to say "I want to kill the President."

Republican Values (for all you wingnuts)

Hey mullet-head, are you denying the refernce to the 90K in the freezer?

How about that bitch Pelosi:

Now, since I have a job and other responsibilities, I don't have the luxury of building boring videos or living off of left-wing finances. But rest assured, the demons are no better.

And while you're enjoying that Old Milwaulkee and pork rinds, why don't you explain why YOUR demoncratic congress sucks more the Bush according to all polls? Because they're not doing what they said they'd do. Instead of finding some brains and figuring how to end the war (like they said they would), they're chasing Attorney Gonzales and other smoke screens.

During the last state elections, I voted for as many demoncrats as repuglicans, including a demoncratic governor. So pull that mullet out of yer ass and vote your intelligently instead of being a friggen sheep.

yeah fair point choggie i guess its on my mind at the moment because they have a tribunal running (called the 'Mahon Tribunal') and its being reported on most days in the news with high profile players being questioned about their potentially shady dealings.. nothing as dramatic as Alberto Gonzales's memory problems tho..
