Do you have any knowledge of Alberto Gonzales' background. He's one of the most compassionate men I know of. Do some research.

I love how Sen. Leahy (and others in congress) throw around threats of hearings and subpoenas while they continue to lose the support of the American people.

According to the latest Gallup Poll congress has an 18% approval rating.

The thing I find absolutely disgusting is the COMPLETE lack of regard on Gonzales' part for this individual's suffering. Not only does he act as though he is being questioned about a parking ticket, he smirks throughout the whole exchange.

He would appear to be wholly without a shred of human compassion or decency - only concerned with his "legal" position and cover.

I'll say it again. Disgusting.

yeah fair point choggie i guess its on my mind at the moment because they have a tribunal running (called the 'Mahon Tribunal') and its being reported on most days in the news with high profile players being questioned about their potentially shady dealings.. nothing as dramatic as Alberto Gonzales's memory problems tho..
