I think I've watched too many fake videos, because I thought the golf cart was going to leap over the guy.

This guy is a moron. This is the most pathetic attempt at a getaway I have ever seen. Trying to outrun a helicopter on wide open terrain, in a golf cart, WTF. His best bet at escaping would have been through a forest or a sewer where the helicopter can't see him.

I love how the reporter seems to know so much about that particular course and the various distinctions between a normal golf cart and a "workers" cart.

I bet the next thing we'll see now are bait golf carts...

After reading the title I was expecting the see the golf cart chase from Reno 911. It's pretty sad when real life police chases start imitating that show.

LOL.. you'd be better off putting the plastic pyramid on that golf cart right next to the "car". It has better than a 12 hp motor.

I got "fired" from my summer job for doing close to the same thing. Workin for the the landscaping team of this private company. It was a standing agreement that rather than dump all the grass in barrels (the property was HUGE and mostly grass), it would be taken to another property on the other side of the road. There, the cut grass would be driven in a dinky golf cart through a hilly wooded area, just small enough to squeeze the cart through. Well one day, crazy old me, decided he didn't want his head to hit the ceiling every single time he dropped off grass (3/4 times daily), and so chose to come up to the dumping grounds a different way. This entailed going up a very large hill on a steep incline. Problem was, at the top was a treeline, and I couldn't really tell which way I should go. Long story short, I picked the wrong one, and going in reverse on the hill, I hit the break. Wheeeeee! The only thing that got me not fired that same day was my employers were too concerned about a lawsuit. They were nice enough to imply that I should not look for employment there again.

Yeah man, this guy is super cool. He knows what it's all about -- getting drunk and riding around in a golf cart. Just put him in the drunk tank for a few hours. Besides, you don't need a driver's license to drive a golf cart, at least when it's on the course.
