Jaaaaaaa: It's The End Of The World As We Know It
I like how the webcam frame rate can't even keep up with the words.
BF: Bad Company 2 - PC Specific Features
A word of warning, you might want to hold off for now if you have a dual-core processor. I was used to Unreal engine games like Mass Effect 2 looking and performing better on my Athlon X2 rig than their console counterparts. This game is the opposite, it my case it looked and performed MUCH worse than the Xbox360 version. As in; the frame rate is nearly unplayable even with every setting (except resolution) turned down as low as possible.
I swore at the beginning I wouldn't, but I actually broke down and bought a quad core when I discovered they make some that work with my existing CPU socket type. And that completely fixed it. Other than that the beta was quite fun, and I'd recommend it to anyone who has a machine that can handle it.
Kulpims' infamous "Riding Strawberry Fields in SG"
I captured the stream from these two ip cameras ... I think it was 4 frames per second, originaly. don't know which software I used, downloaded some free app from the web
>> ^Raaagh:
I watched 95% and loved it - just the frame rate made me quesy. How did you get the footage from the CCTV?
*promote, cause you deserve another dose of boredom. thanks for not showing up for my roast, you bastards

Luckiest Break of 2009
Ain't no timeshifting here; it's just a low frame rate, not slow motion.
*nochannel *wtf *music *wheels
Glenn Beck Kills a Frog
he did not throw anything into the pot.
one. it would be way to fucked up to do that on live tv. even by those assholes standards... that is the standards I am assuming they might have.
as well the fact that you dont see anything go into the pot, even with a frame rate of SHIT you would see a dot or something, other then that, YOU dont see a splash and with the force he seemed to throw the "frog(s) " at there is no splash. its clearly just a METAPHOR in realz lifez cause he didnt do it.
Insane Baseball Spin Swing
The poor frame rate makes this look even cooler!
Jimmy Fallon with Project Natal
Plus Natal uses two cameras to capture your position in 3-D space. EyeToy, and Playstation Eye, obviously don't. The camera tech for these, obviously, has gotten way better in terms of resolution and frame rate as well, so comparing it to the original PS2 EyeToy is definitely a little disingenuous. And really all the Wii is is a couple of infrared cameras and some accelerometers, which also must be pretty low resolution given how jittery Wii seems to be. Anyway, personally I was more psyched about the Milo demo than this kind of thing, and also way more psyched about Sony's motion control demo using the PS Eye and the wands at a vastly higher resolution than the Wii provides. We'll see what happens next spring. Regardless, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that I'm not interested in Nintendo's Vitality Sensor.
E3 2009 - Project Natal: Lionhead Milo Project
While I agree with your observations on the Molyneux hype machine, he at least does provide brief glimpses of originality and possibility for things like this, even if they don't always deliver for full fledged game experiences. Someone else might be able to do something special with it though. Frankly, when he came out on stage for Natal, I thought for sure he would be showing a tech demo for a Black and White 3 project with this. The motion interaction is exactly what he was trying to convey the first time around. Milo, I think, is far more compelling.
As for why we haven't incorporated this tech before, who knows? Processor speed in consoles is finally fast enough to handle the data? Frame rate and resolution for cameras was too low? Stereoscopic spacial recognition being new? I think with camera tech getting better and cheaper, this now becomes economically viable, where before the price point was probably out of reach for a console peripheral. But I'm just guessing.
Who's That Knocking at My Door? (Sita 4)
Hey, you found one with a good frame rate! This is my favourite.
Rattlesnake Vs Red Balloon in UltraSlo Motion
in slow motion even cumshots could be made to look cool. blankfist, it's ok, you can steal this idea... no, really, anyone knows any examples of porn being filmed with high frame rate cameras? how about you, lucky? you must have seen all kinds of weird shit on your blog? /*drunktalk
High Speed Camera Shows Bats Can Hover Like Humming Birds
Could someone smarter than me, or with more time than I have, compute the beats per minute of the wings based of camera frame rate and the pulsing of a fluorescent tube at 60 Hz? Thanks in advance.
Russian Arm Wrestler a Sore Loser (9 secs)
The video frame rate is not fast enough to capture the exact moment of contact.
Flight 77: The Flight Data Recorder Investigation Files
Two other interesting videos are from the RADES radar data.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y0DcCFtuAw
Just amazing that we had C130 and somehow not a single fighter plane to engage. Just listen to the NEADS audio overlayed with the radar data. It is fascinating that no one could do anything about the plane. Plus they thought there was a plane six miles EAST of the capitol.

Finally, watch this which is clips from the above video.. but it clearly appear doctored videos or different recording frame rates. But there is so much doctored data relating to pentagon.

Oh, well music videos are nearly impossible to sift around here.
In reply to this comment by smooman:
ya the one i got is an older vid. Sorted through the ones here on the sift and its not a dupe. It just shows the cycles of rates of fire and at the end shows the decimation, in various frame rates just to be more awesome, of a small structure at the hands of this beast
but damnit i just cant get my music vids to sift........you non music appreciating jaggofs!

That gun you're referring to is called "Metal storm" do a search for it, you'll see a couple already posted.

I've got some great infantry porn vids (like the experimental US Military 1,000,000 rounds per minute box gun) but I cant get any of my damn vids sifted. Gonna give my current one a week before I scrap it and start posting the fun ones
