Lady Gets Caught Trying to Scam Court with Fake Documents
>> ^GeeSussFreeK:
That's cool and also shows how this isn't a "real" court...submit forged documents in a real court that isn't just about the show part and land yourself in jail and get a fine. I don't know exactly if it works in this direction, though, as she is the plaintiff. Usually forging goes the other way, like with a hot check or something, but I imagine the law works bidirectionally for forgery.
I'm guessing it would fall under attempted fraud.

Romnesia -- let's get this word into the political lexicon
@KnivesOut
What's amusing about it? It is something that Obama made a signature promise of his campaign, to heal the bitter partisan divide in Washington. He said he would be a unifier, that he would reach across the aisle and forge consensus. Instead, armed with a supermajority in congress, he did exactly the opposite. He rammed whatever contentious programs he wanted through congress, and ignored all dissent. He was punished for this when the house flipped in 2010. The value of his promise was tested when he was put in a situation where he didn't have to actually live up to it, and his actions proved that its value wasn't worth one red cent. That's why scripture says, you know a tree by its fruit. So I think it is a worthy and relevant criticism considering what he promised, and if it isn't, I'm open to hearing why not.
DNC Staffer Assists Double Voting In Support of Obama
GOP voter fraud in Florida
"Mr. Dinerstein said that about 100 registration forms were affected there. Some had apparently forged signatures and other incorrect information, such as incorrect addresses, GOP officials said."
So we have 100,000 known incidents (in Florida alone) of attempted voter fraud performed by a professional firm hired by the GOP.
And then we have 1 DNC volunteer in Texas...
Yeah, that's a fair comparison.
"The Ancestor" by Darlingside
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
This is an email submission request by the creator - very cool video. More details:
The Ancestor is a collaboration between Chinese Takeout and Crazy Lake Pictures, both young production companies forged in the fires of speed-filmmaking challenges. Chinese Takeout members Timothy Hahn – Pixar employee by day, ruthless preditor (producer/editor) by night – and Abraham Dieckman, writer-director of the upcoming sci-fi feature Trash and Progress – recently made a splash on the festival circuit with the animated short film Cadaver, featuring the voices of Christopher Lloyd, Kathy Bates, and Tavi Gevinson. Crazy Lake Pictures accomplices Mike Lavoie, co-executive producer of the acclaimed film Sleepwalk with Me, and Keith Boynton, whose feature film Chasing Home was chosen as the opening-night premiere of the 2012 Gotham Screen International Film Festival, also collaborated on the well-received "Here We Go" music video for Brooklyn-based band The Spring Standards.
The Ancestor is Crazy Lake's second video for Darlingside (after the jaunty parable "Terrible Things"), and the first meeting of the minds between Crazy Lake and Chinese Takeout, though Hahn and Boynton have enjoyed the texture of each other's brains since their days doing improv comedy together at Amherst College. All four men are sensitive film nerds who look forward to many future collaborations.
Best political ad ever-but then the opponent is weak
Sad, isn't it? You feel not only informed enough to vote, but informed enough to push your opinions on others, and yet you're less informed about American politics than foreigners.
Either that or you were intentionally lying to mislead people, which I suppose these days just makes you a Republican.

Ok you got me. Obama has been office for 3 years 6 months. Your too smart for me.
The Democrats still have full control of the senate and lost control of the House.
Quick sucking Obama juice. Its going to you head.

Why did he not do this the first 4 years? He had full control of the house and senate.
Your math is pretty far off the mark. Maybe you'd have benefited from those extra math and science teachers?
Democrats had control for the first two years of his term, but he does not control all Democrats, they can choose their own vote, and they often fought him on issues. After the first two years Republicans controlled house and senate and chose to spend every ounce of their political muscle fighting every one of his initiatives instead of trying to forge some kind of middle ground.

How to Ruin a Wedding Day
Your entire life is a lie. Your mom lied, your dad lied, and now your damn daughter is lying to everyone on your wedding day. While your lying wife and her lying lover lay in wait to move in and become the new lying couple.
You go to a bar and the lying bartender slips you a mickey. Now the lying police say you killed a man with your lying fists, covered with lying scabs. There are forged cellphone videos made by lying bystanders who put the video into lying Photoshop. So you go to jail, where no one lies to you any more: YOU'RE FUCKED.
Now you get of jail and your lying family doesn't want to talk to you (because they're liars) and a lying song tells you it's easy to kill yourself. But you can't do it, because it isn't easy, just like it wasn't easy for (a man) to get pregnant from prison rape. And now your lying doctor is saying you have full blown AIDS. But he's a liar.
It's your fake deathbed and the lying nurse lies to you about having no visitors. It's all a conspiracy and the internet lies to you while you're looking up supporting evidence for the conspiracy. Message boards filled with liars, just lying their butts out to you about you're a lying troll. And you die and lying God says you believed in lies so you're bound for hell and there are no more lies EVER.
Obama Linked to 2008 Murder of DNC Chair Bill Gwatney
Was this before or after he went back in time to forge his birth certificate?
Mr Bean at the Olympics
Yossarian i couldn't agree more.
Very british ceremony, and probably very much FOR the british people. I don't doubt that many of the reasons i enjoyed it will not be relevant to others. To take the stadium from fields of green to industrial towers was great, especially showing all of the people who were there (willing or not) to help the transition - boats arriving from the west indies and such, the suffragettes. To see the growth of britain and eventually the forging of the rings. I think the ring forging was one of the coolest things i've seen.
It was different, and at times anti-political, anti british. Because being anti british is a british trait. Thank you boyle for showing what pride in our country looks like. The NHS and great ormond street, these are things to be proud of. Our humour, our invention, our quirkyness, our gifts to the arts. If only this would inspire more pride in our health sector. We used to lead the world with our NHS till the tories got their hands on it, maybe we can once again if we take PRIDE in its quality; show the world what a free health system can be. Come on, britain. Where's all the pride gone?
Even though i wasn't such a fan of the singing and dancing and texting, i understand why it was there (a tribute to what we've given the world in the technology and arts departments) and i think choosing Danny Boyle was a masterstroke. I haven't seen anything like it in my life before, and thank god it was finally something to come out of britain to be proud of. At least the british public knows how to represent britain on the world stage. If you want to know how great "great britain" really is, watch our HUMBLE ceremony.
We could lead the world again by showing them what humility, cooperation and pride can do; no more money in politics, no corrupt bankers. Civilised society and fair play were once our specialities.
Btw interrupting a tribute to one of the major bombings of the "anti terrism era" led by bush no less is if you ask me outright insulting to the memory of the dead. To cut to a worthless talking head like ryan seacrest as well? I'm sorry that britain couldn't hold people's attention for longer than 3 minutes whilst we mourn the loss of our loved ones. I hope the silence for the wars didn't bore anyone either. We all payed dearly to defend this island, this link to the theatre of war that eventually inspired the world to fight with us against wrongdoing and against the odds; the least we might expect from the rest of the world is their attention span for a bit.
It was deemed good enough that china commissioned a stage version to be shown in beijing. I bet seacrest won't be getting a call up. Anyone who didn't like it - switch over to Big Brother, Celebrity Love Island, X's Got Talent, Geordie/Jersey Shore or E! now. I'm sure you'll be mesmerised. You might even find ryan seacrest presenting one of them!!
Mr Bean at the Olympics
>> ^Fletch:
What happened to Dr. Who (excluding the audio)?
Beijing may have ruined it for all future Olympic host cities, but that was the most boring opening ceremony I've ever seen. I kept switching over to "Deadliest Catch" repeats. And Paul McCartney? "I wonder if he'll sing 'Hey J...' yep, there he goes". At least the audience participation limits the amount of seventy year-old sour notes they are subjected to. Tell me that wasn't hard to watch. It was entertaining the way "FOX and Friends" is entertaining, or the way running your tongue over a painful canker sore again and again is entertaining.
By the way, Elliot finally came through and found the crab, to the relief of his crew.
Yeah. Meh for that one after seeing Beijing, China, in 2008 (why did the I delete my high definition (HD)'s recording?). The industrial revolution's ring forge was cool and nice bassy music. James Bond (007) skit wasn't that great either. At least Mr. Bean's skit was funny, and he should have been in the whole opening ceremony! Not enough special effects and colors!
Will anyone be able to 2008's summer game's opening ceremony? Oh well. Thanks goodness for recording to avoid watching 4.5 hours of it and its commercials/advertisements (ads.)/spots!
RH Reality Check: Contraception Access For Youth
Music and arts are probably more important than math or history when it comes to developing critical and creative thinking skills. Healthy sex is as important as eating and sleeping and are all very important to memory function, logic, problem-solving, etc. You seem to think sex is so different from other human activities but it isn't. Categorizing things into social and non-social doesn't apply here since a major function of schools is to teach kids social skills so that they can be productive members of society.
99% of success in life depends on social skills. Right now the best and the brightest are not accomplishing anything because they are too shy or messed up by their history to use their abilities to the fullest.
Oh and condoms are a tool used in forging the mind. Sex is one of the most powerful forces that drives our beings so of course tools and knowledge regarding this major part of our lives is important.
Your version of schooling has never been and hopefully never will be. Please check out some of the research that is out there. There has been much talk the last few years about the serious problems caused by removing music and art programs from schools for example.

Sex isn't something that is happening in school
Translation: I NEVER HAD SEX IN SCHOOL! ...or since
Blah, way to be a jerk and not stay on topic.
I shall be a little more clear with what I am saying as I think my message got lost in peoples spin on doing the hibbidy dibidy all the live long day.
Books, teachers, science labs, paper, pens, are part of the education process provided by the state. Having sex in the middle of the class is not. While sex education is a must, having sex in school is not on the curiculum as far as the state should be involved in. IE, condoms are not a pen, a book or any other tool used in forging the mind.
Like some have pointed out (tackfully unlike the nice person above), sex is part of the natural social evolution of a person. Right, but that isn't the focus of the classroom. Schools are for classes and expanding your mind, that is what the state is supposed to be providing. I have problem no problem with my taxes going to books and pens and things that are developing the young minds of tomorrow. But I have a problem with my tax dollars sponcering another childs sex life and/or other social, non-education things (recreational sex is not educational sex . I would be just as against schools providing some sort of free music program on the government dime on the logic that music is needed for a well devolped social mind.
I also don't preach ignorance or being unprepaired, I am just against paying for it on the government ticket. Schools shouldn't be in the business of providing anything but education. If someone can show me how a condom is an education device, besides maybe just learning how to put one on, then I will be convinced, otherwise, it is the school system trying to be more than it is roled to be. This isn't a night club, this is a school. Sex may happen on campus, that is not what I was saying at all, what I am saying is that is the subject of social interaction and not the domain of the school to provide materials for out of our tax budget. Once again, if someone can show how a condom is like a pen (hahaha don't go there), then I'll be more adpt to listen, but so far it seems like "ehh why not" kinda arguments? Perhaps I misunderstood yall as much as yall did me
And if they are just giving them away, then it should be avalible for all citizens everywhere, not just kids...and I would be against funding my fellow americans sex needs in the same way I am against this
Thanks everyone for your respectful comments...minus one
edit: And did no one else think that the video was totally biased? The lady arguing for the side of schools not providing for that thing had some very unconvincing speaking methodology

When Cheese Fails - SCV/probe war
>> ^Jinx:
to be fair, Protoss should pretty much always win against worker rush. Still quite entertaining. I think I like the bad manner cheesers pathetic insults at the end the most.
Any race should always win against a worker rush, as you have much more mining time and can build more workers than the rusher. The protoss had a 13 to 11 advantage, and could've built 3 more workers with the money he wasted on the forge.
