Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 5 Trailer

Bruti79 says...

Yeah, what SDGundamX said. Some episodes are amazing and some are meh.

For the ones that blow you away, though, they're worth going through the mediocre ones. I love the series. It's amazing what type of stories you can tell in that universe when George doesn't get his paws on it. Ie. The Force Unleashed. Someone cut all the cinematics together into a movieon Youtube and it's great. When I need a good star wars fix, I just watch that.

I wish those cinematics would get turned into a full length feature.

Lol quite funny. To bad the game sucks just as bad as the original did.

The game is definitely worth a playthrough if you like Star Wars in any fashion. It's basically, Star Wars *with the force powers over the top), a well written story and plot that fits into the mythos (except for the powers, but that's part of the fun).

It's more of an action-RPG for those wondering if they should play it. You level up (decide what powers/ attack combos/ and passive skills to put up), get to find hidden accessories for your lightsaber (let you deal more damage with force powers, more damage with your lightsaber, conserve "force stamina", etc...), and it has two endings going for it.

The story is better than the prequels... Even though it's straightforward and simplistic at times, it will make you play enough to get to the next story outro/intro. It sold a LOT of copies and was highly reviewed. But, I would listen to the gamers on this one as it's a platinum seller just on the XBox-360.

P.S.- I'm talking purely about the first "Unleashed". But, considering what I saw in the demo for the second, I'd guess that I'll be expecting the same quality/stuff plus the story is continued... The combat seemed far more "cleaner" in the "TFU:2" demo as well.

-- People have different tastes and expectations. Just turn the difficulty all the way up (it'll force you to learn good tactics and combo usage). I'd take "The Force Unleashed" anytime compared to: Halo:Anything, Gears of War: 2, Final Fantasy VIII-XIV, any EA Sports game, MoH 2-x^n, etc...

-- I'm not trying to be dismissive @Xaielao, but I thought I should do the very least of posting my completely different viewpoint. I also, got the game for ten dollars. So that helps.

Robot Chicken - Episode III

Freakin Wizard!

edit- Right at the end the emperor gets cut-off going into commercial break; beforehand he's talking about picking your trainee better. Meanwhile, during the break they have a "The Force Unleashed 2" commercial that is done by Robot Chicken; it feeds straight into the episode. I'll try to find it.

edit deus ex- Somebody, did get a good embed, here it is. So make sure to watch this during the little "pause" in the emperor's talk at 11:12 (right as he's about to mention Darth Maul; which is another inside joke concerning "Starkiller").

Another edit-

As I this in Sift Talk with no responses...: from one to ten what does everyone rate this Robot Chicken as?
I, in fact, give it a wizard. That's right, I'm taking it back! (Clerks Two homage anyone?)

Yeah, Star Wars is over. J.J. Abrams made Star Trek cool again.

Ah you must not have gotten the memo.
Abram's Star Trek was fucking terrible! The dude that played Kirk couldn't act for his life. And Spock was an emo brat.

.. and Yatzee there were a lot of great Star Wars games but because you got into gaming like 6 years ago you missed almost all of them.

I don't think anyone got that memo. But that's because I'm pretty sure that memo was only circulated at the offices of Douchebag, Douchebag and Contrarian.

Movie games are just bastardizations anyway - They shouldn't be taken as "Part of The overall Story" - Ever.
Most Movie Games are never good enough to be games and rest on the merits of the movie itself - so why would anyone be shocked that this one would be any different!
Most of the games you see out there from Disney - for example - are the same game with different graphics to reflect the new movie they're promoting and parents let their kids buy this crap.
I tell my kids - if it's a spin off a movie - don't buy it. Buy it only if it was a video game first!

There are exceptions... For example, the grapevine says that the Chronicles of Riddick game was actually pretty good. What this means is that the awesomeness of a movie and it's associated game and vice versa can never be above a certain limit (the Uwe Boll quotient). This explains why games based on good movies suck so hard, and also explains why the Mario Bros. movie was just abysmal and why the Resident Evil movies were rather disappointing.

Personally i never have, but i could throw a stone at my university and hit 7 people with the same stone who would tell you "i only do it to try out the game, if it's good i buy it, but i'm sick of being cheated out of my money"

"Cheated"? I never understood this incredible sense of entitlement to excuse not paying for games.

When demos of games don't exist and the majority of previews come from sites like IGN and gamespot...AND don't say anything negative about games, can you really blame people for wanting to try before they spend $50+? Everyone's been burned at some point by buying some shit ass console port made by a company that used to make fantastic stuff. For example, Lucasarts made X-Wing, Tie Fighter, and the Dark Forces series for PC, but also made The Force Unleashed, which is one of the worst pieces of saleable software ever made and one of the worst console to PC ports to date. There was no demo.
Since when is demanding a decent product a "sense of entitlement" for a consumer?

Mentioning X-wing and Tie fighter in one comment gets an automatic upvote from Kalle... here you are
