Ferry Corsten - Fire

I wondered the same thing.

The first minute of the video made me think of doing Hot Knives of hash with two Katana blades.
promote this gasmic video/audio
I have half a mind to put this in the water channel.
Thats honestly something that I am not sure about, but I am a stickler for such sort of things. Water is ice.. so if the video displays ice, should that not go in the water channel ?
when you make a channel like water, does the temperature of the videos set/theme take effect?

William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (hypnotic video)

DUBSTEP

Eklek says...

Well, let's rephrase and elaborate. My argument was indeed kinda fuzzy
The point of what I commented is that I see Twostep as 1. the main subgenre that 2. now (seems to - not yet convinced become(s) more mature (like when e.g. rave developed into gabber (with the distinctive distorted beats) or when trance became warmer (e.g. with Out of the Blue by Ferry Corsten, which was based on technological innovation in the genre)) under the - I think - wrong name of dubstep (they should stick with twostep and when being more specific e.g. say "dark twostep", "light twostep", etc.)!

This definitely brings back some good memories. Incidentally, this is the Ferry Corsten remix. The original is entirely legato strings, and soothing and sad. It is interesting that the video starts about half way through the track- there is quite a bit of build-up before, and this is the huge, arena trance breakdown in the middle. I can just see thousands of sweaty ravers holding their glowsticks in the air. So goosebumpy. Awesome.

I probably shouldn't have sold this record, but it really got played to death at parties in 2000.
