As I like to keep posts original, I've got no problem with siftbot killing this video & transferring the votes over to the original. In my defence, when I tried to post the original embed code, it wasn't allowed, but it didn't state why, so I just thought I'd seek out an alternative link.

No, it is a common mispractice though.

Properly, a second to the invocation by one with the necessary status, gold star or better, will result in the votes being transferred to the original thus preserving them.

Wow, when i watched this on YT, it had English subtitles.

What is funny, is my good friend loaned me the DVD and it has the original Japanese episodes with English subtitles. They did change some things at times. In the first episode there was a scientist killed and his daughter was give the option to launch missiles at the machine/robot that killed him. Here were the basic gist of the lines spoken by the leader Mark when she refused to fire:

English version: Good choice because revenge doesn't solve anything.

Japanese version: Weakling! You have shamed your father and your family!

The original comic series is awesome. It was set in the days of the Vietnam war. The only thing that sucks is the English VO. It is horrible. I hope the DVD can have English subtitles and the original Japanese turned on.

If i might correct: you should spell "der" in lower case as long as it's not part of a name (just like the movie name "Der Untergang") or the first word in a sentence. It should be: "...recordings of der...", but since the case / casus is not correct it's wrong anyway. And if you want to use the german original, you should spell it "Führer". Not trying to be a smartass, don't get me the wrong way :-) We're just a few german native speakers around here so i thought I might help a little.
