Absolutely terrifying stuff. I would do everything I could possibly imagine to flag down those vehicles in that oncoming lane. To see all that black smoke come up after those semi's entered was just terrible, because you knew just what that meant--I worked for UPS and those things are NOTHING but fire fuel (they are practically mini-bombs once they catch on fire at a good enough temperature...).

It would make a good driver-ed video, UPS driver video, state leaders, and even our country's leaders. So we can Improve our systems, education, infrastructure, first response, and our view of the issue.

Nope, just another day. Remember when Obi-Wan got killed by Darth Vader? Remember?

The problem is that we're only seeing a small portion of the school's curriculum out of context. As Ms. Hughes points out, this wasn't really suprising and there's a lot worse going in in the school. Here's a typical day:
Geometry - how to use angles and geometry to hypothetically assasinate the president.
Chemistry - how to use bunsen burners and test tubes to hypothetically create a fertilizer bomb to blow up the IRS.
English - how to use pursuasive writing to hypothetically write a terrorist bomb threat.
Biology - how to use petri dishes to hypothetically smuggle explosives past bomb-sniffing dogs.
Drivers ed - how to use proper signaling to hypothetically drive a truck filled with explosives through a government checkpoint.

We actually watched a bunch of Australian PSA's in my drivers ed course. As realistic as they were it still seemed over the top for the message they were trying to get across. It's like they were appealing more to peoples fears then to their reason.

they really don't teach you well enough in drivers ed what to do on pure ice conditions like that. and in most cases there's not a thin you can do, if your tires have 0 traction brakes, stearing, or just gunning it won't do much of anything. BTW best moment is the fattie doin the assplung that was funneh!

Reminds me of those drivers ed videos, but aimed at the much smaller population of MRI technicians.
