things americans dont get-a young aussie girl breaks it down

Grimm says...

What's lazy about a drive-thru ATM? Doesn't every kind of drive-thru qualify as lazy if that's how you're looking at it. Why not go one step further and say we are lazy for using a car in the first place.

Ahrghh!
ac had another video from Funny or Die without a thumbnail. I was leery so I went to an old FoD and put a thumbnail on it--worked fine.

Then I put a thumbnail on the new one--Shit! Same thing.

I'm unsure the cause of this, but I've put in a fix that will hopefully correct it. Please let me know either way if you happen to update a Funny or Die thumbnail again.

Thanks!

Whenever a thumbnail is placed on a video (through the "update video thumbnail" link) from Funny or Die the video goes away and the embed has to be reloaded by the poster.

This has happened many times over the last couple of weeks.

Is this Australia? McDonalds has weird drive thru windows in whatever that place is

I assume England, since the driver is on the right side.

Australian's drive on the left side of the road (so we're on the right).

The windows are too narrow for a person to dive through for a cash grab, but big enough to hand the food out. From the accents, I'd say *downunder

Taco Bell - A peek behind the counter: How the food is made.

atara says...

I used to work at Taco Bell in high school and my first year of university. That would have been - oh, 15 years ago or so? We didn't have the grill press thing because that crunchwrap thingee hadn't been introduced yet, but everything else looks almost identical to how we were doing it.

Our store was open 24 hours, and since we were in a university town, our busiest time was from 1:30am-3:00am, right around the time the bars closed. We were the only fast food place open, and we'd have lines out to the street in the drive thru, and inside the line would wrap around the inside of the store a few times before trailing out the door.

I worked bar rush a lot, and we could make a box of 20 tacos in about a minute and a half, a bean burrito in 25 seconds, etc etc. It was incredibly cheap food: the box of 20 tacos cost $11.00, a bean burrito was $0.59, and that nachos bel grande was $1.99. It was not healthy by any stretch of the imagination, but when you were a college student who'd just spent your week's grocery money on drinks, it was your best bet to feed yourself.
