I wish my PQ wasn't so large. It's just that I like so much of my vids. They're my babies. I can't kill my babies! I've got some solid comedy that's just not appreciated as much as they deserve (especially some solid "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" stuff)!

First of all I thought I should point out that type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease while type 2 diabtes (the most common type) is more or less a lifestyle disease.

Also, I would like to see some objective sources for your claims, imstellar.

Indigenous populations with almost zero incidence of these diseases, and populations living in cities eating a western diet with mortality rates similar to western countries. You know, this video pretty much sums up how I feel about my day today... well, minus the boat.

Some of her staff have been reported as saying something along the lines of "she just wanted several days to think about things and come to grips with what's happening next."

I think the VP thing was something the press & her supporters cooked up. I think she was just in denial, and she got lots of wakeup calls throughout the day today.

Her campaign has now said she'll be conceding and endorse Obama on Friday at an event in Washington DC.

Yes, despite being a devout Catholic, and despite trying to remain loyal to the church, Galileo could not ignore the observations showing the sun at the centre of the solar system. The catholic church was of course teaching that the earth is the centre of creation and the universe (Aristotle). They persecuted Galileo. In later years, the catholic church recruited and funded astronomers which was the beginnings of the church using science for persuasion of its esoteric teachings which still goes on to this day. Today it's called Intelligent Design.

In fact hundreds of years of years of persection, deceit, lies and social control; much of which can be levelled at any religion in the world. Take your pick.

The vatican's position on evolution does not explicity say that evolution is the most likely creation theory, only that "faith and scientific findings regarding the evolution of man's material body are not in conflict, though man is regarded as a 'special creation', and that the existence of God is required to explain the spiritual component of man's origins."

This is always worth saying: Science is a METHOD, not a position.

It's true that our media tells us that modern americans are taught they live in the greatest country in the world.. they ARE #1. Also, when they go to war, god is on their side...

Perhaps the similarity in their mass psyches is why 'america' fears the evil islamic countries..

(Warning: racism by generalisation of evil islamic countries) the same evil countries who purport that indeed, THEY are truely the best peoples in the whole world!.. and incidentally,... Allah is on their side!

Of course we all know that there are one or two americans who don't fit into the stereotype.. but what can we do? Humans like to generalise.. it's out of our hands.

The interesting thing is it is not only from 'european' media (I mean, 'lies') that I get that image of 'american elitism' (as a whole)... I mainly get it from AMERICAN media (in terms of both support/ rejection) e.g. Simpsons.. Family Guy... the american NEWS... american daytime tv.. american latenight tv... american sports stars... the american government.. (oops!) ...the list is endless.

Also.. the whole "you'd be speaking german" thing is annoying. It seems to my brainwashed mind that for a long time, america was only interested in it's own politics, whilst the people of other nations were being killed in a large war of somekind... (a war which eventually became a 'World' war when the americans realised that 'The World Series' was not accurately named)
