127 Hours Trailer
I really like this trailer, and it is a very gruesome story, so I'm in. Oh and Danny Boyle has been making some pretty good movies too.
Does anyone know the name of the song on the trailer?
Danny Boyle Wants to do Trainspotting Sequel
>> ^ant:
I didn't like the movie that much.
Sunshine or Trainspotting?

I watched my brother play this game and my biggest gripe was his voice. He's a bike courier. Why does every modern male game lead have to have the stupid gravelly Wolverine/duke/halo voice?
Sounds more "Wannabe Solid Snake" to me. It's a good game, I actually started off hating it. I couldn't stand his voice, the fact that you could climb EVERY building actually got to me, because most of the time you're climbing something that you know wouldn't be there in real life (Generally places don't have exterior pipes), and you can basically make it up anywhere no matter what by spamming X and hoping for the best.
It's a good enough system, but I dislike it, I prefer Assassins creed more. My other gripe is that I got insanely lucky with the first "Mission" of saving the food and it immidiately set me to Hard difficulty and the game then proceeded to kick my ass.
The Reapers have what look to be AK-47's, but have a 99.9% accuracy rating, essentially meaning if you poke your head out to zap someone and there's more then 3 of them there, you're either dead or graying out.
However, with more power unlocks and a tad more understanding of the game it does get more fun, it's just a shame that it took me 3+ hours to reach that point.

Let's see what your voice sounds like after being forced to drain thousands of human souls, and then getting electrocuted.
I bet you'd drop an octave or two.

I love how in 2007 almost nobody could see Danny Boyle's Sunshine in theatres because it only showed up on 50 screens for one weekend, and then in 2008 everyone is totally swinging from his nuts!
FWIW I think Sunshine is one of the best space movies ever!
I did get a chance to see Sunshine in theater, and thought it was quite good. Also own it on dvd now.
Another movie I saw in theater, despite zero advertisement/promos, was Equilibrium, which was awesome. (stars Christian Bale before he was in the batman series... not sure if he was a male-diva at that point in his career. Two thumbs up for any movie where Taye Diggs gets his face cut off )
And yes, I liked MIA's original paper airplanes since long before this movie, and the version they used in the movie (krupo pointed out) was fine too, I just don't like this remix. To each their own opinion.

Sci-Fi Film Reccomendations (Cinema Talk Post)
^Nice! The Wraith! Good one, firefly. Farhad, have you seen Danny Boyle's Sunshine? It's pretty amazing until the very end. I know that's not a ringing endorsement, but... It's worth a look. Jacob's Ladder you've probably seen. The Thing is awesome. If you're in the mood for some b-movie goodness, be sure to check out Killer Klowns from Outer Space!

That was exactly what I wanted to say, but I couldn't remember Boyle's name. Great minds.

Yeah, that was quick. You are clearly more of a Danny Boyle zombie than a George Romero type. Congrats, friend.

Spoiler Warning - Great Scene of the Movie "Sunshine"
I loved this movie. Been a huge Danny Boyle fan since Trainspotting and A Life Less Ordinary(one of my all-time favorite films).
beck - deadweight (directed by michel gondry)
"A Life Less Ordinary" is a very funny and romantic Danny Boyle film. I'd give it 8 out of 10.
