"Corporate America is Using Our Police Depts as Hired Thugs"

Winstonfield_Pennypacker says...

I think the answer is far simpler.

When kooks are rejected by society, they invent conspiracy theories because they cannot (above all else) ever bring themselves to admit that they are just a bunch of kooks. Far better for them to believe the cops, the mayors, the media, and society at large are involved in some sort of machination to 'keep them down' or 'bury thier message'. Yeah - that makes tons of sense guys. (cuckoo!) A movement with no leader, no message, and populated by a bunch of drug using rioter/rapists is simply 'misunderstood'. :eyeroll:

Yo motherf*cker, yo!

Obama releases full birth certificate, now STFU idiots. PLZ?

Winstonfield_Pennypacker says...

Now THAT is true.

Seriously though - I can't think of a single person in the GOP of any note that is a "birther" in the sense that they don't think Obama was born in Hawaii. So far it seems to me that the cuckoo far-left fringe and their media shills (MSNBC) are far more obsessed with this issue than anyone on the right. MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, NTY, AP, et al are running 'birther' stories at a 4 to 1 ratio compared to FOX News. People that are whining "Let it go!" should be directing their venom at the left wing media complex, not the birthers.

But of course the neo-lib media won't let it go because it gives them a way to do what they do best... That is to deliberately screw up terminology, perception, and language in order to paint the sins of a tiny fringe with a big fat brush onto anyone they don't like. Now all the liberally biased media outlets are literally screaming like frothing lunatics that anyone who wants to see 'records' is a racist/bigot.

Bullcrap. There are people who want to see Obama's records. There is NOTHING WRONG with that. Any person who runs for ANY public office from Dogcatcher to President should be willing and able to supply any and all records on request. That is not a big deal. Just because people want to see Obama's records doesn't make them either 'birthers' or racists. That's just a load of garbage that neo-lib left wing propogandists are screaming loudly and often in the plaintive, desperate hope that the stupid and inattentive will believe it.

But reality check time. Obama isn't the first President who had this issue swirling around him. Chester Arthur, Barry Goldwater, and John McCain just a few who have had to produce records about thier births to settle controversies. And they're all WHITE guys. So please - none of this BULLCRAP that Obama is some sort of innocent, unique victim of racism over this birth certificate issue. Give me a break. What a steaming pile of hotspur. The whole issue wasn't even STARTED by the GOP. Hillary Clinton's campaign was the first group to bring this all up.

Star Trek Theme played on a Musical Saw

poolcleaner says...

>> ^iaui:

It really sounds like she's humming the tune along with the saw, but I don't really know what a saw sounds like so perhaps those overtones are all coming from it... I wish there was a better recording. The mic is clearly peaking each time she bows the saw.
But totally awesome, nonetheless.

The musical saw has been a staple for all sorts of eerie music throughout the years. For instance, the music in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Chances are pretty high that you know the sound, you just didn't realize it. Sort like how Dr. Pepper is prune flavored -- most people have tasted carbonated prune juice, they just didn't know it.

Muslim Student vs. Horowitz: Major Student FAIL

Asmo says...

>> ^bcglorf:

I have never heard him condemn the extremism on the other side, and I have read many of his tripes encouraging it.
As for the girl, all I have to go on is that exchange.

So you condemn Horowitz for failing to condemn Israel.
Are you then ready to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah?
Will you decry the girl in the video for her failure to do so as well?

Not to put too fine a point on it but you are off in cloud cuckoo land...

Longde never said he supported Hammas or Hezbollah. He merely said that people will not tolerate this woman espousing her hateful and ill conceived views, but we extend that courtesy to the Jews/Israelies who want to wipe out the Palestinians, likewise hateful and ill conceived...

You've done the instinctive jump (I'm surprised you didn't start waving the holocaust flag sooner tbh) to go on the offensive as if Longde was some jew hating white supremicist when you have nothing, from what he has said, to base that on...

Of course, your mindset is blazened quite proudly on your sleeve...

"I'm content to see it as a triumph of the Jewish people after having just lost several million to the holocaust 5 years earlier."

A triumph? Is that what we are calling terrorism now?

And I quote:

"The unified resistance movement in Palestine split up in July 1946, after Irgun's bombing of the British Military Headquarters, the King David Hotel bombing, which killed 92, mostly civilians."

Mostly civilians. Would you condemn the extremists who helped establish the Jewish state? If not, you are about as reasonable as the woman in the clip...

For the record (in case you've actually read this far), I condemn Hammas and Hezbollah for their crimes. I condemn the right wing government of Israel for it's crimes and it's Nazi-esque policies. I condemn any Jew who supports them and wants to see Palestine gone. I condemn Jews who misuse terribly the suffering of those involved in the Holocaust to silence dissent to Israels current facist actions.

I'd hazard a guess that Longde would have a similar mindset.

I totally disagree with you. I get being pissed that things haven't changed enough but I think it's just that America is a slow turning ship, not that Obama has left things on Bush's same shitty course.

Specifically:

1) Obama is just as bad in military spending?

If you're handed 2 wars your first day in office you think you can cut spending within the first year?

2) Obama is just as bad in staying in Iraq?

Obama gave an exit deadline and plan 2 months into office. Bush just promised we'd leave over and over but refuse to gave a date because it would "embolden the insurgents". wiki. What the hell do you expect from the guy?

3) Obama is just as bad in number of dead soldiers?

No. I'm not even going to look up stats.

4) Obama is just as bad in doing things in the name of empire?

Bush's rhetoric was all about empire and if you looked under the surface he and Cheney's motives were allot worse. You can make a case that America has done nasty things in the name of empire from Manifest Destiny through the banana wars to the dirty wars and into the present but I've never heard the case that Obama agrees with that path much less that he could be considered in the same galaxy as Bush/Cheney in that regard.

5) Obama is just as bad in terms of don't ask don't tell?

I doubt Bush would want to change don't ask don't tell. Obama said he will but didn't give a date. I'd assume he doesn't want to do it before midterm elections because homophobia might lose some democratic seats in congress doing gay rights no overall favors.

6) Obama is just as bad in terms of Gitmo?

He started closing Gitmo right away: wikipedia - but Bush left a bigger mess than he thought (no records).

Great speech, whoever edited the video went a little cuckoo though - How you could hear that speech and think pictures of "Obama" instead of pictures of "Bush" is beyond me.

Because Obama is just as bad in terms of miliary spending and staying in Iraq and Gitmo and the number of soldiers dead in the name of Empire.
Go ahead and tell me how Obama did anything in Iraq different from what Bush had planned. Including Dont Ask Dont Tell. Name one timeline that Obama accelerated.

All this is way way too slow but I think this is just as fast as it gets until you convince the rest of the country to agree faster.

President Obama Signs HCR into Law

TDS: Jon Stewart Rips the Hysterical Democrat Wusses

Winstonfield_Pennypacker says...

I always make sense, and Obama is a far-left radical. It isn't hyperbole. It is unequivocal fact. His agenda items are all leftist radical wet-dreams. Cap & trade. Universal health care. Government ownership of businesses. His background & education? Radical left wing. His heroes & mentors? Radical left wing. His preachers and colleagues? Radical left wing. If it's educated by ducks, associates with ducks, and all its policies are ducks then just MAYBE it's a duck. When a duck is a duck, it isn't 'hyperbole' to call it a duck. When a man governs like a far left radical, then it isn't hyperbole to call him a far left radical.

Now - I know for a fact that the far left radicals of the U.S. don't think Obama is radical ENOUGH. HuffPo, KoS, DU and all the radical left wing blogs are desperately buzz buzz buzzing about the Brown election. The mental gesticulations - the absolute warping of fact & reality - that they are spewing out is amazing.

According to the radical left, Obama was elected by a country of far-left leaning independants and progressives so that he could change America into Euro-Socio-Rouge-land and try everyone they disagree with as war criminals. Obama didn't make that happen - and THAT is why independants voted for Brown. Oh - I see - so a bunch of far-left indie voters didn't get ENOUGH radical left wing policies enacted and so they decided to vote for a guy who ran on a platform that was DIAMETRICALLY opposed to their own? Ooookaaaaay... :cuckoo!:

Brown has made no bones about it. He's pro-life, anti-global warming, anti-universal health care, and pretty much "anti" everything the radical left wants. Croakley was everything the radical left wanted. She was a rubber stamp for abortion, universal health care, immigration amnesty, cap & trade - the whole ball of wax.

And so these geniuses on the left wing blogs expect everyone to believe that left wing voters were so angry because they didn't get ENOUGH far left radical agenda passed that they pulled the metaphysical equivalent of voting Rush Limbaugh into office. Yeah. Right... B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b

National Geographic Explorer-Inside LSD

shagen454 says...

Oh my, this makes me so happy. I love LSD; I took two double dosed tabs once as my first experience and will never forget it. It's definitely nowhere near as scary as the media and public propagates. I took it in my late 20's - the whole time I was thinking about why the $#@% do people lie about this drug as my apartment building opened up like giant drawers and flew by my head like a cuckoo clock.
