Recreating Game Of Thrones' Loot Train Attack
Was watching this with my wife and I said "they better be paying Francis Ford Coppola royalties"
Great episode though.

Very cool to see the influences. Apocalypse now.

FOUREYES - Brilliant short about puberty and glasses
I dunno, there is a bit more than that. There are the long reaction shots (notably the vacant expression ones), and most importantly, the crazy but played straight-man characters. I'm not so sure about the editing either, that in particular strikes me as very Anderson-esque (though, in a way it's also Kubrick-esque, and to a lesser degree Coppola-esque, because nothing comes from nowhere).
Besides the centre-framed shots and the vintage-style color correction this is really nothing like Wes Anderson, especially where music selection and editing is concerned.
Top 10 Worst Movie Casting Choices
Didn't think Sofia Coppola was terrible. Not memorable, but not bad either. Plus, for me she atoned for any mishaps with Lost in Translation.
Tom Waits' induction in the Rock and Roll hall of fame-2011
It says something that when Tom Waits played Renfield in Coppolas Dracula, he appeared more sane than normal.
Will Smith Performs "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" with Jaden.
Perhaps and we can only hope, Jaden will go the way of the Coppola daughter and make some movies worthy of the cut "cause on-accounta he caint ack"...very well yet anyhow, n will most likely head down the path of dad's shadow should he continue to enjoy the acting shoes...the same profession for which he is undoubtedly set for life in considering the number of peeps in the generation who grew up on Fresh Prince.
I missed Fresh Prince (ignored), and I did not get the memo that told me that Will Smith, not unlike Keneeau Reeves, is able to NOT portray, but a single character.
Whoa. How does Norton stay gay with guests like Heather Graham on his show alla time??
Moonrise Kingdom - Trailer - Wes Anderson
Roman Coppola? Is he Wes's new writing partner or something?

Is that Father Guido Sarducci (Don Novello) at the end?
Playing Edgar Allan Poe, no less!
The Godfather - Michael kills Sollozzo
Great scene. I like the music in the follow-up montage, called "My Loneliness". Written and played by Coppola's father who we see at the piano during the montage, for you trivia buffs.
35 years Backwards thru Time with Sam Klemke (Time Lapse)
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
Don't forget his Ron Jeremy phase in the mid-90s. I love this so much! *promote

How Pacino became Michael Corleone, in The Godfather
The story of the Godfather can't be told without involving producer Robert Evans. I recently read his autobiography "The Kid Stays in the Picture". Fun read. He tells the story of how Coppola never forgave him for stealing his thunder on the Godfather. It's now a film as well:

Nicolas Cage's Agent
Were he not a Coppola, he would have faded away long ago.
