Poppy Game Insult To Our War Dead
I remember this controversy well, and it's nice to see it portrayed outside the <expletive deleted because even I can't think of one strong enough> british tabloid press.
*promote the succinctly put description of the amazing game. (which I never got to play, thus undermining my moral highground)
How to make a Paperclip Cube
OR...
Given that the verb 'to cube' could mean to make something into a cube, maybe that's actually Clippy and he was was forced to make this video.
My opinion is as valid as yours. At very least we should teach the controversy.
Um. Not an engineer or anything, but those aren't paperclips. Retitle?

Cocaine Bear
could be worst.
"Unhinged Ursine: Uncut", " White Rock; Black Bear, "Siege of the Snow Bear", or "The Rampage of Pablo Escobear"?
(although, "A Bear Loses Its S*it In The Woods" might hype the film w/the its controversial title)
the sequel; a story about fermented berries eaten by a moose & it goes on a spree. "Murder Moose" (based on a real event)
("Elkoholic" just misses)
No it's not. Too long. I would watch the hell out of a movie if it's just "Cocaine" or "Bear."
Photographer takes photo of wave that resembles a face
This is why the "monkey selfie" photo controversy of a couple of years ago (damnit, it's 10 years!) baffles me... it's not always the artist, it's often the editor that spots the art. I can take 60 shots per second of the waves on the coast of a lake, but that doesn't mean I should own the copyright on the one that happened to look great at 01:05:51.304 on 26/11/22.
Conversely the inverse may also be true.
Art is art. Don't tie me down, baby.

Viral transmission not tested in Pfizer trials
Just because transmissibility-reduction-effectiveness wasn't studied before the (emergency use authorization) release of the vaccine doesn't mean that it wasn't also (somewhat) effective at doing that, but just became known after-the-fact because of a much larger "study" (the general population).
The point of the pre-release studies was to determine how effective it was at preventing severe-disease and hospitalization, and those were the numbers evaluated for the EUA decision (at least in USA)
I don't know who this politician is, but seems to be trying hard to create scandal and controversy. And sure, he did uncover a lie by government officials, sort of (preventing yourself from getting sick to the point of shedding less virus does help others around you too), if they made those statements and marketing materials before such data existed to back it up.
Maybe pfizer did make those claims before the EU rollout? That wasn't shown or discussed in this video, even though it would have helped his argument by presenting that.
Certainly I agree that the phrase "speed of science" is content-less, because the scientific method doesn't define speed. The time-to-marketable-solution might be a better measurement, and that largely depends on how much money you throw at a problem.

CNN Confronts Biden Advisor on Ukraine
Politicians / public officials tend to answer questions at certain events, and not at others. One can easily find footage of basically any public person ignoring questions shouted at them by various parties. It isn't new or controversial. Do you feel Presidents (and Representatives, Senators, etc as well) are beholden to answer any shouted question they hear, whenever they have a spare moment? Or do you just feel this particular question warranted a response?
It's a pretty inane question, really. "Do you think you may have underestimated Putin?" I mean... the Biden administration detailed, in advance, what they thought Putin was going to do. And then he did... basically exactly what they expected. That doesn't seem to allow room for underestimation.
America had a leader. Now we have a JOKE!

School Board Must Resign or be Charged With “Child Porn”
For those curious - this was the book of writing prompts:
https://www.amazon.com/Things-Write-Francisco-Writers-Grotto/dp/1452105448
And here's 100 of 642 of those prompts:
http://ryanjurewiczedu390.pbworks.com/f/WritingPrompts.pdf
This book was given to students in a college-credit creative writing class, and none of those 3-4 controversial prompts were assigned to students.
I would hazard to guess that even in Hudson, OH, most 17-18 year olds have already said and done things that their prude parents would cringe at.
Call the fireman, time to burn those books!
