Deano, if this does not qualify as *skillful (this unsolicited observation having been made without reading the FAQ?!) then you might want to consider extricating whatever impacted in an orifice however clogged or otherwise impinged, assetera, ex-cettera....

A pet's toys, yes, but no pets.
That said, I don't really understand the Videosift policy on channels. For example, it always seems odd to me that anything with slow motion is timeshift. Shouldn't the timeshift channel be for videos about slow/fast motion, rather than it being clogged by every single slow motion clip? That's what tags are for, I thought. I guess I thought wrong.

The way it's used now the channels are nothing more than additional tags - most of the time.

There are channels which are administrated quite nicely. See Skillful for example.

A PC full of filth!

Fletch says...

I bought a small air compressor for exactly this purpose, but now prefer using a leaf blower. Much faster. I have seen some bad ones, full of dust, pet hair, nasty smoke residue, and spiders. Many people see their computers as an appliance, like a toaster. They want it to turn on and just work, ignorant of what is needed at a minimum to keep it running well. But even a toaster needs the crumb tray emptied once in a while. Unfortunately, it's only when a fan dies or a heatsink gets completely clogged that they notice it "acting funny", "locking up", "making funny noises", or they "think it has a virus". "Oh, and by the way, one of the fans used to make lots of noise, but I figured it must have fixed itself because I don't hear it anymore".

I've got stories.

The inside of the front panel is still clogged with dust. Of course the entire system has a fine layer of dust coating it still. Clean that also, and with a couple of hours of reformatting, finding old drivers and installing a billion windows xp updates, you'll have a brand new Pentium 4 2.2Ghz system you can sell for $50!

$50?
$20 -- if you're lucky.

Man Shoots Unmanned Police 'Speed Enforcement' Vehicle

Sagemind says...

BC Canada had these photo-radar cars several years ago but finally got rid of them

First of all, they can't prove who is driving the car.
Second, a dirty license plate, get's you pass.
Three, a halogen license plate bulb leaves an over exposed photo of the license so those are also void.

As well, it's just a money grabbing mechanism and didn't ever stop the fast drivers from speeding. By the time you even know the camera-vehicle is there, you've already had your photo taken, then you are off and speeding again. no one stops you. they just collect the fines.

Then you had highways getting clogged. Every time a car was on the side of the road, every one slows down - just in case - then speeds up again after they pass the vehicle.

It got so that, when traveling or driving on the highways, you just drove as fast as you wanted while keeping your eye out for cars parked on the side of the road. Then once you pass the car, you know you are free to speed.
