I've seen all of That Mitchell and Webb Look, but haven't seen any Peepshow seasons- so I'm looking forward to this. They're a great comedy duo. Another show that I really like that has David Mitchell and did have most season on Youtube is Would I Lie to You>> ^rychan:

Actually, it only has the first five seasons. The sixth season has aired. I know, because I had to get it, because sift forced me to watch six seasons of this show in the past week after seeing a clip.

This is a very poor british comedy show compared to our good ones. Man, you'd love some of the really good stuff. This scene didn't even make me laugh!

if you haven't also heard of The IT Crowd be sure to check that out. similar style of very well-written british comedy, and has a few of the same actors

And the thing is, if you find something that is really good, you want it in your sifted, we all want our sifted packed out with quality. I'm not going to deny that I want to have decent QI sifts in my arsenal. Especially seeing as British comedy (and music) is my bread and butter around here.

There are plenty of QI and indeed David Mitchell vids I haven't submitted because I don't find them funny. And I would never get pissed off with someone else taking up the helm. I do, as you do, wish people would stay true to what they love and not just submit for the sake of popularity.

But hey ho, like you said, the votes are what count when all is said and done, and if it's not enjoyable to enough people, then we all know where it's headed

Was surprised that none of this is on the sift. Some of the best of British comedy in my opinion.

Yay, thanks! I grew up in Finland watching lots British comedy! I love Monty Python, NTNON, Smith & Jones, Kenny Everett.. so many more, I can't even remember the names.. 'Some mothers do 'ave 'em' ?? Mr Bean.. Even Benny Hill.. And those tho dudes who's names I can't remember.. Hale & Pace?? They all just made me laugh so much!
