CDC Whistleblower Admits MMR Vaccine Autism Link
Hmmmm. It sure sounds to me like they're saying being born black without a birth certificate causes autism. If that's the only group that showed a correlation, and such a HUGE correlation that it changes the outcome of ALL the data for everyone else, there's something about that group, not the vaccine that everyone else got without effects.
Also, clearly autism is not only blowing up in the undocumented black community, as this guy claims.
Identifying race through school records is TERRIBLE. People fudge that data for different reasons all the time. It certainly is not factual data.
Jon Stewart Goes After Fox in Ferguson Monologue
@lantern53
did you just compare a famous nazi warmongering propagandist (who got his playbook from an american *edward bernaise*) to a political satirist?
a political satirist who is skewering actual so-called "journalists"?
jon stewart is NOT a journalist and this segment is not about reporting on ferguson but rather pointing to the absurdity of some news outlets and how THEY propagandize.
nobody knows for certain the details of what went down, mainly in part to "news" outlets such as the daily show is revealing to be muppets rather than journalists but ALSO how the police department is handling the situation.
the news outlets are also ignoring the under lying reasons why there was rioting and looting.
or do you actually believe that people in this community just decided to blow up businesses and take to the streets.as if it were inherent to their nature and that rioting is fun!
yaaay rioting! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeEEEE!
but maybe...
juuuust maybe.
there had been an ongoing persecution brought on by years of flagrant abuse of authority and a disproportionate focus on this poor community?
think that could be possible?
not only is it possible but probable, because thats exactly what many of the residents have actually said.
a few decades of bad policing will have that effect on people.
who is the blame?
do we blame the residents?who after years of police stepping on their necks resorts to violence?
well, they do hold some responsibility.though we may understand,we cannot condone.
or do we blame the police?
well, several weeks ago you made the argument that it was actually those in command that set the tone for the entire force.
that was a good argument.
i agree with that argument.
being former military i understand the chain of command and how vital it is to a working and successful force that wields immense power.
so here is my basic problem with your commentary:
you chastise stewart for ignoring the violence, rioting and protesting, while at the VERY SAME TIME ignore the REASONS why that that violence erupted.
you appear to be very vocal in your support of the police,ANY police, which commendable...even noble, but you, yourself, noted that those in command could be corrupt, vicious and incompetent.
so my question is this:
why would you defend those cops?

Humans Need Not Apply
capitalism only really functions well (with regulation) in a world where resources are limited and a lot of manpower is needed to get things done. Thanks to technology, it's only a matter of time before resources are so easy to come by and manufacture into needed things that the supply and demand model will be obsolete.
That Dyson Sphere won't build itself after all ![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)
I suspect that within 100 years, if not sooner, manual labor will be a thing of the past...unless you're an artist or something. Robots will be able to do virtually everything..and better than humans are capable of.
The only people who will still need to have jobs are engineers and maybe technicians, but even then, eventually robots will be able to repair themselves so maybe not even technicians will be needed. Hell, given enough time, nurses and many health care jobs won't be needed anymore because basic healthcare could be delegated to robots.
It's just a matter of time. We're already starting to see the effects of automation in the workforce, we just don't need as many people to get things done. Hell even technical jobs aren't safe because as computers get better and better, They'll be able to analyze certain things better than humans.
The question just becomes what do you do about it? A whole new economic model will be needed. Because we'll eventually be living in the world where unless you're in the academic top tier, you're just not going to be needed in the workforce. At the same time, again, because of technology, we're going to have the ability to feed and clothe AND shelter you for a minimal amount of effort so the prospect of being able to being born, living, and dying without ever NEEDING to work is a real possibility in the not so distant future.
Isn't that what you would call...a utopia? You want freedom? there it is. You'll be able to spend your time doing what you WANT to do instead of what you HAVE to do just to survive. I suspect at some point, there will have to be SOME procreation laws put into place to keep the population growth in check. But hell, even that won't be so bad once we have the ability to colonize other planets.
People will still work, they'll just do it because they want to do it, but they'll be jobs where they're not a necessity or anything. even in an age where a replicator can make all your food, people will still want to cook, or do other artisan style jobs.
But hey, we'll still need defense, gotta blow up or deflect any stray asteroid that comes near us. or just send a bunch of robots up to mine the rock to smitherines so we can use the resources to build our mighty space fleet and our other grand works
In other words, the human race....has won. isn't that a good thing?
Yes, automation is inevitable.
But I have no idea what shape an automated economy would take.
Let's assume this comes to pass and in 100 years only the very best and brightest humans (i.e. 0.001%) are employable. If there's no point in employing humans and they don't get paid.... who will drive demand? No point being able to super efficiently produce cars, smartphones, hell even coffee if no-one can afford it.
Essentially in an economy like this, the capitalist model completely collapses.
The bots will probably eventually realise the futility of this, wipe us all out and head off to explore space.

They sure did blow up good...real good.
Explosion of gas station - Russia
It sure did blow up good....real good.
Massive gas explosions destroy Taiwan streets
As they said on the farm report....It sure did blow up good!
Israeli military levels Gaza's Shijaiyah neighborhood
Now cue the Israeli propagandist telling us this entire neighborhood was populated entirely by Hamas militants, and was a legitimate target, not the intentional bombing of a civilian neighborhood 'quick before we have to stop bombing'.
Fuck all Zionists.
EDIT: and on an improper note...it sure did blow up good.
Israeli crowd cheers with joy as missile hits Gaza on CNN
More philosophical wank citing junk analogies (lol, blowing up peoples houses with them still inside = drunken manslaughter in a bar fight?) to justify a position directly contradicted by people who should know...

"The late Tommy Lapid, justice minister in Ariel Sharon’s government, caused an uproar in 2004 when he said that images of an elderly Palestinian woman in Gaza “crouching on all fours, searching for her medicines in the ruins of her house” demolished by the Israeli army reminded him of his own grandmother who perished at Auschwitz. Lapid compared the Israeli army’s writing of numbers on the arms and foreheads of Palestinian prisoners to the Nazi practice of tattooing concentration camp inmates. “As a refugee from the Holocaust I find such an act insufferable,” he said in 2002."
"Lapid, who was chairman of Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial, also likened the routine harassment of Palestinians by Israeli settlers in the West Bank city of Hebron to the anti-Semitism of pre-World War II Europe. “It was not crematoria or pogroms that made our life in the diaspora bitter before they began to kill us,” he said in 2007, “but persecution, harassment, stone-throwing, damage to livelihood, intimidation, spitting and scorn.” Lapid did not live long enough to see Hebron settlers attempt to burn down a house with a large Palestinian family trapped inside, an act witnessed on 4 December by Avi Issacharoff, reporter for the Israeli daily Haaretz, who called it “a pogrom in the worst sense of the word.”
or perhaps:
http://youtu.be/qMGuYjt6CP8
"Sir Gerald, who was brought up as an orthodox Jew and Zionist, said: "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town a German soldier shot her dead in her bed.
"My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians."
He said the claim that many of the Palestinian victims were militants "was the reply of the Nazi" and added: "I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants."
I'll take the word of people who lived through the Holocaust and the formation of Israel over you... = P
I do understand that the purpose of Godwin's law is to reduce the worst kinds of hyperbole, and that's exactly what I'm trying to do.
Whatever you think about Israel's policies regarding the Palestinians, referring to it as extermination only shows that you haven't taken the time to understand anything about the current conflict and you are just reacting emotionally to the terrible horror of war. Extermination is the total elimination of a certain population by killing, and such an action is so far beyond the state of oppression we see in Gaza today that I just can't take your comparison seriously.
The only way you bother to support these outlandish statements is by telling me that death is death - no matter what the cause - as if that mindless tautology is enough to render two wildly different sets of circumstances and tactics equivalent.
Should we also call all murders murders and not bother to make distinctions between first degree, second degree, involuntary manslaughter, etc? Should we treat the serial killer the same as the drunken brawler who hit someone too hard in a bar fight?
Of course not. As thinking people we analyze factors such as intent, quantity, severity, remorse, and perhaps most importantly, we consider what measures can possibly be taken to correct the underlying cause. All of these elements are wildly different in the different degrees of murders, and having an honest grasp of these differences helps us understand how we as a society should react to each degree, both in terms of punishment and rehabilitation.
To similar ends, it is very important that we consider analogous distinctions in the different degrees of atrocities between nations or ethnic groups. The fact that it is obvious that I would much rather be in Gaza today than a concentration camp in 1943 is very much so relevant to this sort of analysis. The fact that there is no Israeli intent to exterminate the Palestinians is also relevant.
But if you want to leave the depth of your understanding at "dead is dead" then I guess that's your choice.
Jon Stewart on the Gaza-Israeli Conflict
There are videos online that show exactly what happens. You just need to get out of the building and to another neighborhood or something. Where the "warning" lands, basically, that whole building is about to blow up.
Israel bombs U.N. school shelter, murdering children
Also, the US sends Israel BILLIONS of dollars and they spend quite a bit of it on rockets that actually blow up hundreds of Palestinians....
Palestinian rockets are basically large fireworks that can only kill with a direct hit on a person, Israeli rockets are high tech, guided rockets with high explosives that have repeatedly hit known civilian targets sometimes killing hundreds in a single shot, and this kind of rocket almost NEVER misses the target they're aimed at....sooooo.
(Oh, and then there's the system the US gave Israel, but not Palestine, that shoots down 99.95% of the 'rockets' that exceedingly rarely actually kill anyone on the rare occasions when they do manage to hit ground)
Ya' don't care much about that shit though.
Also, the US sends Gaza millions in dollars and they spend quite a bit of it on rockets to kill Jews.
Y'all don't care much about that shit though.
I'd pay to see your face if your neighbor started lofting rockets in your direction, lol
Israeli crowd cheers with joy as missile hits Gaza on CNN
Israel is so the badguy based on their actions. Like isn't is terrible when they go into Palestine and blowing up innocent people in a café by a suicide bomber. Or like the videos like this that they make for children http://youtu.be/Du638_4NTSI
They are sick people and need to be terminated. Like seriously. Right now.
Michael Bay - What is Bayhem?
I thought Bayhem is nothing more than things blowing up when a small rock hits the roof of a building. Is this guy telling me that there's something else going on in the background?
Blasting a mountain top to build world's 'biggest' telescope
Wouldn't we normally be against blowing up mountain tops?
I can't deny that I too am OK with this as it furthers our understanding of the universe by building this. I just can't help but to feel hypocritical.
Video Shows Dramatic Explosion, Rescue At Gas Station
So... GTA is correct. Those DO blow up when you hit them.
