They might have succeeded, too, much to everyone's horror when the foil rips and they inhaled burning coals of pot directly into their lungs, leading to them dying terribly! But they never built that hellish contraption because YOU were there to roll joints for them instead! And teacher says every time a bell rings, some stoner just tried to make a pipe out of an apple. See? It really IS a Blunt-er-ful life!

I'd just like to say a word about dabs and the partaking thereof: Jesus Christ these things are like getting kicked right in the third eye by one of those horses from My Little Pony. Like maybe the blue one or something. I dunno, I'm pretty high right now, but I'm sure there's a blue one. Anyway, yeah, dabs . . . fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

I recycled a couple plastic bottles, a spent bic pen, and a used lip balm container this weekend... turned them into a bong.

The part that seems unbelievable is the subtle gradients... ball point pens are on or off, they don't do fade from light to dark and they don't explain the trick. I think it's faked or at least helped along like maybe he's smudging wet ink or something else not shown.

Your disdain for "Web 2.0" stuff reminds me of the over exposure of KISS at around 1982. I was in 5th grade and didn't really know much about them, but dutifully enscribed "Kiss Sucks!" on the playground equipment with my Bic pen.

It's cool to hate on passé cultural concepts.

That being said, I think your ire might be misdirected. I don't know that there is anything really "Web 2.0" about Siftbot. He's fairly similar to invocable bots that have been on IRC for a decade at least.

We will probably intitute "ignore filters" at some point, so you can - a la Burger King - have it your way.

Indeed CC - all U-Locks with this vulnerability were pulled off the market after it was disclosed, about 2 years ago. The big manufacturer Kryptonite had a HUGE recall program to replace them - I never got around to enlisting in that; once again laziness trumped paperwork.

New U-locks use a different style key from the "bic pen"-breakable version, and AFAIK, are safe.
