84-year-old Veteran Sniper Still has Perfect Aim

so did some more research... That museum opened in June 2009, and the episode of "Impossible Shots" that featured Ted Gundy was aired Feb 17 2010, so it was probably filmed late 2009. So he was 84 in the video, but is probably 86 now - so you could use either

That would make him born in ~1925. He was in the Battle of the Bulge (12/16/1944 – 1/25/1945) so he would have been ~19 at the time.

His tour of duty was cut short cause he lost his right leg by a German shell. (I couldn't even tell in the video that he was an amputee). Apparently he also marches in every Memorial Day parade.

(I upvoted the video before previous comment btw)

Yes giving you a rebuttal is "getting worked up" isn't it? Yes it does upset me a bit since my grandfather died in Belgium at the Battle of the Bulge.. yet what sacrifice has he made when most people could care less that many have died so they could be free.

I think you underestimate the educated class of America in knowing about Stalingrad. But hey it's easy for ppl to just say we're stupid Americans.. kind of fun to put someone down isn't it?

I must admit I was pretty annoyed from Bill O regarding this. I think mostly because Bill never owned up to being incorrect about a historical fact. We're all only human (I think), and we do make mistakes. My grandfather died in the Battle of the Bulge which was near this awful occurence in history. I still think Bill owes americans an apology for not owning up to big mistakes like this one...

If he truly believes this is what happened even though all the history books dictate otherwise, then he should support his theory with some evidence, for it is a serious accusation to accuse these post-humously medal awarded veterans of being outright war criminals. This equates to him calling the official account a conspiracy. That would make him a conspiracy theorist I guess.

Believe it or not, I used to like Bill O when he was funny and I was ignorant. Hey, at least I can own up to my mistakes.

The circus of the media on tv today seems to be just that.. A GAME.

Probably why I watch alot of cspan and the web instead.
