When there doesn't seem to be any proper rules in the game anyhow, why not let a dog play as well?
How do you know a dog is not part of the rules?
This game doesn't look to be much different from Futurama's Blurnsball
Dog Joins Aussie Rules Football Match
this is 'International Rules Football' a hybrid of Gaelic Football and Aussie Rules.
Football-Helmets and pads are for pussies... =)

A lot of these guys don't seem nearly as buff as football players, plus those shorts are gay.
Heh, you should see "Aussie Rules" (Australian Football), the shorts get shorter.
In rugby, there is only one team (so no offense/defense/special/kicking teams) so the players have to cross train more. The backs and wings are the faster players, then you have front/second rows which are the big guys.
Pity I only have one slot atm or I'd toss up this one.

Aussie rules this is. Basic rules, kick the ball to the other players, if you catch on the full (a mark) you get a free kick forward. Sometimes called "aerial ping pong". First half of the clip are marks, second half are hits. ; )

All this over soccer? That six minute video was more exciting than all soccer matches ever played.
That's kinda why there are so many soccer brawls... well, the low scoring of soccer games. There's SO MUCH tension in soccer games 'Oooh, he's going to, going to score, going to... aaawwwww... nope' over and over again, the tension gets really high, and the release of said tension only happens once or twice, or sometimes NEVER in a game... so all these fans have all this ridiculous tension... and they feel the need to let it out somehow.
Hence, brawls.
Now... Aussie Rules football... regular scores into the hundreds (ok, a goal is 6 points), and you have ample release for tension, hence you don't hear that much about aussie rule fan brawls.
Longest 2 yard run in NFL
At least Aussie Rule Football requires the use of foot to score. I don't understand the rational of calling a game that requires players to carry a ball over a line to score (and occasionally kick the ball), "football".

FYI, The Chinese calls American football "American Olive ball" as it has a shape of an olive. The same are applied for Rugby and Aussie Rules football as they use balls of more or less the same shape. Football (soccer) is still called football... Sounds more logical to me.

^ They call it soccer here in Australia too. I think because it would get confused with Aussie rules footbal.
And "Socceroos" definitely sounds better than "Footballeroos"

I am in Australia - and I am a citizen, but I'm not sure I qualify as an Australia as I've only been here 7 years and I don't understand cricket or the difference between NRL, Aussie Rules, and rugby.
I'm on the Gold Coast. 2 People - that's almost enough for a meetup.
