Seriously shocked at Drew's idiocy. Curious if he'll ever change his tune, perhaps once deaths are into 6 figures in the US? Probably not. He's pretty adamant about being right even when everyone else knows he's wrong.

Adam Carolla was being sued by patent trolls who claimed to own the patent on making podcast episodes available for download. He refused to settle, which is what they want. They only dropped the suit once they realized he doesn't make enough money to make their suit profitable.

People and companies buy up patents like this for the sole purpose of suing anyone they can because there is no penalty for them to sue anyone they want, and in most cases anyone they sue will settle because they can't afford a defense or it will be less costly to just pay them.

It's madness, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

After hearing the back story, I think the officer's actions were not too unjustified.

The girl was talking on her phone in class and refusing to comply with the teacher's and school administrator's requests to stop. So they called the police and she continued refusing the orders of the officer to get out of the desk. That's when he used force to remove her from the desk.

As Adam Carolla said about this video, "Cops are assholes. That's why you should do what they tell you to do."

If this were to happen to either of my kids when they're in high school, I'd hold them responsible for refusing to comply with the reasonable commands of their educators and law enforcement. But that's just me... and I'm raising them not to be insolent douchebags, but to be respectful and considerate.

Adam Carolla has an often-told story about his friend Ray Oldhafer. When they were teenagers Ray filled his colon with water then with his butt hanging out of the car they pulled up to a McDonald's drive-thru window and he let it blast. Not a moment too soon the employee was able to get the window shut before impact. That is a horrible prank.

Wait, I am confused... Obama is black, and usually presumed guilty before innocent as a black man first. The whole nation tried, convicted, and demanded the execution of the Lacrosse team. The "evidence" was equally conclusive. How could a bunch of rich white boys NOT be guilty? Aaaaand then when the actual investigation happened the whole thing fell apart. I'm not saying that's the case here. I'm saying it is too early to say anything at all, and that there's a ton of agenda-based, race-inspired hype rush to jugement that is causing a lot of people on the indeological left to forget the first rule in US jurisprudence...

When a black man is shot and killed by a white guy, you are here insisting the white guy is innocent until proven guilty, which is fine and nobody is even really arguing against it. The trouble is at the exact same time you go around insisting that a black man who has been accepted as president forged his birth records and was in fact born in Kenya, guilty until proven innocent, and not even a certified birth certificate accepted by the highest authority in the state is in your mind enough evidence to prove his innocence.
