Rossi vs Lorenzo - Motorcycle Racing at it's Finest

I looked it up, the hayden/padrossa crash was in 2006. Wow time really flies.
I guess in racing it's each man for himself, I was mistaken as at least commentators back then were giving padrosa crap for crashing into his ('sure season-winner') teammate.

Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner are equal on points at this stage of the championship. it doesn't make sense for there to be a pecking order at Yamaha. the commentators rightly derided Pedrosa for taking out Hayden in Portugal 2006 as Nicky was the only one of the two who had a chance of taking out the championship at that stage (it was the penultimate race). Plus, Pedrosa took him out in a clumsy accident early on in the race...there was no need for it.

Rossi vs Lorenzo - Motorcycle Racing at it's Finest

I haven't been following gp lately, so perhaps someone can correct me...but this seemed so reminiscient of the whole padrosa/hayden affair last year.

They both are riding yamahas, both have fiat sponsors... so aren't they on the same team? And if they are, clearly there is a pecking order (and i'm sure rossi is on top)... so to me it was stupid what Lorenzo was doing. He could have easily caused a crash by being so aggressive and forcing rossi to be agressive.

the reason for the sound is that the snes's soundchip was based on yamaha if memory serves me correctly and it was insanely powerful for it's day even to the point of allowing some small surround sounds if you had a hifi system with rear speakers plus the music format is still unsurpassed with it's compression tech.

That Yamaha FM sound was shit even for it's time. GF1 wavetable was where it was at. You need to hear Doom on the Gravis Ultrasound to appreciate the difference.

From his website:
Yamaha SLG-100NW

This is called "Silent Guitar". I use this for late night or hotel room practicing. It has a standard phone jack and a mini stereo head phone jack. Two levels of reverb can be applied to the output sound. Operate with 9V battery or with AC adapter. The bottom half of the frame is de-touchable for easy carrying. Acoutic sound is weak but it's there.

I'm sure you're right that it's Viral, but I wasn't sure when posting; I think I was waiting for a brand name or website to come up at the end (maybe it got chopped?).

It is obviously fake. The thing that I noticed, because I race bikes myself, is that it's one strange line up of bikes on the grid (mixed classes of CCs and types) and also that the blue bike at the front (a Yamaha R1) is in stock trim - road parts and all. This wouldn't be allowed into a race as is.

Lederhosen Lucil - Semi-sweet

Farhad2000 says...

I saw her and Kid Koala live, I love this song. Some of her songs are up on her site. http://www.lederhosenlucil.com/

Lederhosen Lucil is a Canadian alt/pop/country/rap/synth/techno musician whose real name is Krista Muir. She plays two vintage Yamaha keyboards while singing to produce a variety of music stylings.

Krista was born in Kingston, Ontario. As a child she took piano lessons and listened to music such as The Ramones, The Clash and The Pet Shop Boys. She also watched the television show Pee Wee's Playhouse almost religiously and regards Pee Wee Herman as one of her greatest idols.
