Meanwhile in Australia...snake windshield wipers

chingalera says...

I know man, snakes and spiders...Most everyone has that unfounded fear of these..... Must have been some trauma as a kid is all I can guess.

My only beef with any reptile or insect is with the American/Oriental cockroach. When I see one in my home it is imperative that I kill it or exhaust myself looking for it before going to bed. When I was 10, I was woken abruptly after having just fallen asleep by one crawling across my mouth, the source of my obsession. (oh fuck, now the NSA knows what to put in Room 101 to get me to confess!)

Plus, the little bastards are smart, wily, and calculated. Can't have that sonofabitch wandering around while I sleep!

I was kinda hoping that his sun roof was open and that the wipers would fling the snake inside. Then he'd have a reason to scream like a little bitch.

Elephant Has Perfect Aim

chingalera says...

Mental health can't be rosy, and elephants are smart as fuck. One at the local zoo here back a number of years ago murdered a pigeon in cold blood while my girlfriend and I were watching. Kicked it with premeditation and wily positioning....It slid at around 30mph into the edge the concrete enclosure.

They don't like being treated shittily.

Shit Republicans Say About Black People

bareboards2 says...

I read this yesterday. I had a bad feeling and couldn't identify it at first.

It's the same thing that women faced (less so these days) -- they had to be much better, much smarter, much more of everything in order to get promotions/jobs.

Women and black Americans have always had a presence in higher echelons. There have been stellar examples in public life for hundreds of years.

Key word in that last sentence is "stellar." YOU HAVE TO BE head and shoulders better and tougher and wily and bull-headed and confident and impassioned to break through and rise above the mass of ordinary white men.

One amazing black man as president has not magically changed the world. It is a step.

He also is a role model -- and on that note, I agree with your friend. A path has been blazed. Now it needs to be trodden on again and again until the path is clear for the ordinary in addition to the extraordinary.

When Obama was elected a black friend of mine said; "We got a black president, maybe it's time to stop using our color as a reason for not getting better jobs."

"Game Theory" in British Game Show is Tense!

RedSky says...

If you'd take a break from your tourette-like fit you'd notice that this has been adressed, but then again that would prevent you from casting wily aspersions.>> ^cosmovitelli:

Stealing is both rationally and morally the best choice because:
1 - If they steal, you would have been screwed picking the other option.
2 - If they share, you can always voluntarily give them half after, thereby forcing a share scenario.

Dumbass.

If both people followed your advice they would all be constant losers = dumbass.
(If you really think sociopathic self righteousness is the answer, try a short holiday in Somalia and discover what better people are doing for you every moment of your life)

Christopher Hitchens Responds to Fundamentalist Apologist

philnthrope says...

If the USA encouraged attrocities and once in a while bombs a lil wily bit a country to stop those same attrocities, one shall conclude that both these argumentists (one more eloquent than the other, indeed) share the same flaw in their reasoning.

It's not up to a country like the USA that encourages attrocities (and puts them in practice too...) to judge, "save" or run another attrocities-making country. The only thing a country as such may await is being equally judged and "saved."

For now it's a matter of retaliation and counter-retaliation, but may we hope one day the ones judging and saving have the right to do so.

Grey's Anatomy Wii game... a pseudo review

I guess what you're experiencing is the same hypocrisy I see around my parts of the world - playing browser-based games at work isn't considered 'gaming', but all it takes is for you to be poppin' n00bz in Call of Duty for just a little over 40 hours in a row, and all of a sudden you're a "videogame-addict". Sheesh.

I suspect you are right... Those wily women and they endless war to keep us out of their vaginas!!! CURSE YOU!!!

Oh excellent. I was wondering why you never answered my messages.

Well, we're going to gather some sources for you over this weekend and I'll invite you to an art overview document we're making on google docs.

Did I mention that I ♥ you for helping?

I finally saw all your messages on MSN today.. Sorry sorry! I don't use that computer much right now (It's mostly in the hands of my brother for his wily TF2 gaming habits! I just painted him a spraypaint tag, in fact)

Please let me know about the painting thing! I heard you settled on beer production. I understand its an isometricish top-down view and components will have to fit together. Will there be a specific grid size for them to conform to? If you could put together just a few source pictures of apparatus you find particularily appealing, I can try to distill a sort of demo to see if I can come close to what you're looking for!

Heh - maybe Ashes2Flames and MrFisk should get their own channel in two weeks!
Keep us engaged with their wily antics, those crazy two.

With regular guest appearances from choggie, lucky760 and an urn representing the former DrAlciabiades.

Who knows, maybe it'll get Good Aaaron out of the woodwork, RIP.

If it helps, I'd like to share the perspective of the newbie on this. I've been lucky at my beginning here (mostly out of sheer laziness), to not have actually posted my own vids or commit sock-puppetry, and I have guided others quite clearly who I have introduced to this site not to. And I would be one to blame them if they subsequently tried, considering themselves wily enough to think they can get away with it. And the community, myself included, would decide if peace be upon them if they consider doing it again after they get caught.

Dr. Alcibiades's been banned. Mr. Fisk has a history of questionable actions and ties to Dr. Alcibiades. I say let's grant Mr. Fisk the opportunity to show some good contributions on VS, knowing full well several/many are watching closely with their finger on the banination button.
